@ Pietman: hullo young man. Toyota behaving?
Cheetahs turn now, throwing the ball around with gay abandon, but shuffled into touch just short
Qwas breakout. Wow, this ball is seeing a few hands!
@ Just For Kicks: who’s coaching Griquas this year? Are going to hold Vstaat to a decent scoreline?
Both sides intent on running the ball
@ Just For Kicks: dry pitch. They gonna chuck the ball around, the boys from the platveld
@ Tassies:Hawies Fourie – Qwas heavy on attack, just short, but the scrum goes Staat way
@ Tassies:Yup, looks like a desert out there
Scrum 5m out from Staat line, their put in
2 collapsed scrums
Free kick Cheetahs
@ Just For Kicks:
No, no dop yet bro. Hoping to have a drom or two with GBS and Nortier at OT in Jhb soon, on my way back to the homelands by the sea.
@ Tassies:
Toyota ok thx, mechanic not, had to show him the ropes around fitting a new starter motor, thing still under warrenty and I am not allowed to work on it myself. Mechanic in white robes being shown the ropes, his attire not so white and spotless anymore

Hawies Fourie, I think, former Cheetah coach.
still august. So pitch nice and ‘yellow’. And hard as I recall my army days.
Good steal by Staat, Chip ahead but Benjamin couldn’t get it. Scrum Qwas
Cheetahs penalty on Qwas 10m line. Poles
@ Pietman: new started motor? Already?
Where you off to now Piet? Weskus?
Kick pulled
@ Tassies:
Gansbaai.
@ Tassies:I was at 8SAI, Upington. Only ever played 1 game of rugby. 2 reasons to never enter fray again – tar macadam pitch and was the only pint sized pommie stupid enough to don a rugby shirt. All good though, managed to stay out of hospital – just
cheers boys. I’m off to build up my personality in prep for the Storm-Bulls rumble.
Eish, Cheetahs chip one through, but touch line wins, just.
Cheetahs 3m out, hard on attack
Penalty, quick tap Staat, fluffed, but another awarded to Staat, and Greef cops a second yellow, thus turned into a red
Staat don’t want the points, play penalty, and eventually Benjamin over in the corner
@ Just For Kicks:
Me too, 8SAI, played at the Oostelikes Club for a few months, agricultural show grounds, very much like the pitch in Kimberley today.
GrootSchalk Burger and a bunch of Craven week players from Natal playing for Weermag back then as well.
@ Tassies:
Tjorts Tas.
Griquas 0 / 15 FS Cheetahs (35 min)
@ Just For Kicks: I was at 1SSB Bloem. And I WAS stupid enough. So did make an unscheduled visit to the hospital. Ditto in Namaqualand where we played against Noord Kaap. Knocked out cold that time. So retired gracefully and became a professional spectator.
@ Pietman: cheers Piet. Now I’m off.
