I guess we’ll see next week.

They did look AWESOME in the January pre-season training…..but I suppose that is peaking a bit early in the wider scope of things

Fark, I missed the whole farking game!!

When I got up this morning our Power in the area was off… and is still off…

So I started the genny, it ran for 8 minutes…. I started my PC’s and the DSTV decoder started rebooting.

Then I logged in here and before I could comment or do some score updates… the score was 8 / 0 at that time, the farking genny vrekked on me!

Went to it, refilled the tank and saw the carburetter was leaking badly… a steady sputter of fuel dripping and streaming onto the ground.

So, what did I do… I farking fixed the genny’s carburettor… first off with the air cleaner and couplings and attachments and fuel pipes.. all the time trying to figure out how this thing works.

Eventually started to get to know the flippin thing and fixed what I could, then put everything back together, slowly but surely… till just now!!

Now the flippin thing is running in the background, smooth as can be, and the freegin rugby is finished, verby, klaar… flok!

    @ Gumboots:
True. Still I’d rather have an SA team win the Super 15 than the Tahs or Saders.

As much as some are trying to clarify behaviour of people, the Sharks are making it quite clear that their franchise comes before country… Now I don’t fall for that… if any player ups and walks out on his team because his coach says so, then I have no time for them or their team… People can defend them as much as they want, it does not gell with me…

    @ Gumboots:
That’s me. The more radical Sharks supporters that we know don’t, in my mind constitute the whole universe, many of those that I know don’t blog, but I will always support SA teams against foreign, and to be honest my traditional rivalry sits with the Bulls, not the “Johnny come latelies” 😀

LOL – The only rivalry is between the Bulls and Stormers/WP – the others are Jonny come latelies indeed…

but? If the Sharks play the Bulls – I will support the Bulls – can’t handle prima donnas…

    @SB and Gummi….and UFO
The argument about franchise v Bok was and is a valid one that is expected to be debated, with differing views.
The “support” for a side who one does not traditionally support is a personal matter, each person can decide whether they want to support a SA side or not. Stormersboy will support the Sharks against the Waratahs, and that’s his choice and most will respect that, I won’t, unless I pick the Sharks on SuperBru.

The Sharkbashing was never against bloggers, it was aimed at the team or individual players, and it’s no different to Stormer bashing or Bulls bashing.

Can we honestly be expected to not make fun of or call them chokers when the best team in SA lose at home to a second string Stormers or even away to the bottom placed SA side?

Is it un-PC to comment on a player who picks franchise over country?

It can still be a friendly site even if bloggers have a go at other’s teams, we have been enduring it for a long time, and we take it and give it back.

It’s no use that when your own team drops you every year when it counts you don’t want to apportion the blame towards the team, but to rather lash out at those making fun of them.

I still believe any player or team is fair game, and if the Bulls score 0 we can have a go at them, or if the Sharks choke like they are busy at the moment, we can have a go at them.
