Chiefs penalty slotted…
Chiefs 11 / 3 Blues
Blues 5m scrum
Try George Moala, Blues… in the righthand corner!
Chiefs 11 / 8 Blues
Only 3 points in it…. Landers must be hoping….
@ Pietman:
Yes we are happy here, but we do get those confused looks from people when they hear that we have moved up from the Cape, as if we are mad.
Bad knock by Ihaia West… but the conditions are pretty bloody aweful
@ Stormersboy:
Ha ha, also got those looks many times.
Pretoria is a nice place to live, I don’t think I’ll be going back to CT soon
5 Minutes to go in the game
Fark, anything can happen here in the last minutes…
@ nortierd:
been to cape town a few time and I would rather go back north than to cape town… nice place for a week holiday. crappy place to live.
Chiefs penalty… 1 minute to go
It’s not just our derbies where the teams go all out to spoil the other’s chances.
The nature of SR
@ nortierd:
Best weather in the world, used to love those 4 pm highveld thunderstorms chasing the heat of the day, I miss that, especially here.
Final Score: Chiefs 11 / 8 Blues
Man alive, if that kick went over I would have been 1 point out, not 2.
Difference between 1,5 and 2 points in my money pool.
Pity Ancombe missed

Only one place down south…Overberg.

Ag at this stage I am playing it as it goes, never say never to anything, but for now i am happy where I am and I have too much work to cope, which is a great thing.

Yep, but those 4pm thunderstorms have now moved to about 8-9 pm
Talking about Pretoria, I see James Phillips aka Bernoldus Niemand who put the name “Snor city” on the map has been immortalised in a commemorative stamp by the South African Post Office together with other legends such as Lucky Dube, Taliep Pietersen and Johannes Kerkorrel.
But I shiver each time I exit CT International and hit the N2 or R300 to Gansbaai, or when the wife has to come fetch me, gangster area…
@ Pietman:
My family have a couple of places in Onrus, and I must admit I miss that place most of all. Diving for Kreef and back in the day perlies (before the Chinese). Braaing fish on a stormy night and drinking OB’s after an icy afternoon in the water.
That’s the life.
@ robzim:
Serious? I thought Katman was the SnorCity originator…really!
170 @ robzim:
Interesting….do people even still use stamps nowadays?
Can’t even recall the last time I sent or received a letter
@ Stormersboy:
Onrus is, and has always been my favorite holiday place.
Love the lagoon area at the beach, especially when my daughter was still a pikanien.
Just close enough to go to Hermanus if you want, but not too close to get all the people and traffic.
@ Stormersboy:
Any place over there, Hermanus to Witsand, is fine by me. We have a smallholding in Baardskeerdersbosch of all places! Stanford is another rustic place I could easily settle in.

Lol…. I think Katman is also a fan of James Phillips as he is quite into decent Afrikaans music.
James Phillips also did the song ” Hou my vas Korporaal” which was the the first anti conscription song in Afrikaans.
I think James is originally from Springs…probably went to school with Skopskiet 🙂
@ nortierd:
@ Pietman
Yes I grew up holidaying there, camping at De Mond caravan park having a jol at the Marine and as you say, any place from Betties to Agulhus for me.
I will go back to the Cape to see the family over December and will squeeze in a week or 2 there while I am down.
@ Stormersboy:
Yip, that’s story, a man has to work, and where you are now is about as near to $pot in SA as you can get.
Go for it!
Verbeel jou maar jy jaag die Curriebeker!
@ robzim:
First time I heard that description was from Katman, true!
