The FIFA Football World Cup 2014 is nearing the end in Brazil.
The Quarter-Finals are a thing of the past, only 4 Teams remain!
In the Semi-Finals we have 2 South American Teams against 2 European Teams, who will come out on top? If a Team wins here, they progress to the Final and the loser books a place on the 3rd Place Play-Off!
It is the 3rd Place Play-Off on 12 July and the all importeant Final on 13 July 2014.
In the 1st Semi-Final on 8 July it is Brazil vs Germany and the 2nd Semi-Final on 9 July is between Netherlands vs Argentina.
All of the games are live on TV in SA on SS3 HD, SS3 & Maximo.

I’ll be surprised if Messi lasts this game.
Netherlands are obviously under instruction not to allow him any space or time on the ball, they are all over him like a bad rash and anything goes.
Zzzzz time cheers vir eers
@ Bullscot:
Cheers
Still 0-0 after an hour.
What a contrast compared to the 1st semi yesterday
That was soooo close by Robben
Extra time for sure now.
Both teams will be extremely careful going into extra time so unless somebody makes a bad mistake or there is a moment of brilliance by someone we could be in for a penalty shootout yet again.
@ robzim:
Penalty shoot out look to be on the cards
Crap game
@ nortierd:
Rob, isn’t there something like golden goals anymore?
@ nortierd:
Seems like it… the Dutch had most of the play so far during extra time though and Robben appears to be more of a threat than Messi at the moment… having said it, the argentines nearly scored… so who knows, its like a lottery already.

I am not sure but it does not seem like it.
The dutch goalie is very cheeky with his dribbling… if he stuffs it up ………

This Dutch side must be one, if not the, fittest side in Brazil.
Their last 3 games have just about all gone the distance, and yet they kept getting better the longer the games went on
@ nortierd:
By the distance I of course don’t mean the regulation 90, but the ET as well and against CR to penalties

Van Gaal is well known for making sure his teams are very fit…. poor Wayne Rooney is going to kak under him at Manchester U .. no more loafing around and comparing prices of Ferraris with teammates during practice sessions for him.
I wonder if van Gaal wil bring on the sub keeper again
Argentina had 2 opportunities in the last 2 minutes.
Not taken, under these circumstances you can’t afford not to take them
Robben again had an excellent game.
The guy has some serious class.
The Dutch look stronger after ET, they might just win this penalty shoot out
oh well here we go…. now it is all about who can hold or not hold his nerve.
shat
Phew…Argentina save the first one
Messi doesn’t miss
1-0 Arg
