    Thanks GBS

  • 3

    That’s a horrible tackle.

  • 4

Bout time the ref starts to hand out yellow cards to the filthy French team.. a few of their players seem to be well trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu holding techniques.

  • 5

Good shot and a good save by the French goalie.

    Hi Rob.

Nigeria has a great chance of progressing here if they can just convert one of their chances. They’re playing really well.

  • 7

Another good move and half a chance created by the Nigerians.

  • 8

Jeeez, how did that one stay out of the Nigeria net??

  • 9

Saved on the goal line by the Nigerian defender after good work by the goalie.

The pace of this game hasn’t let up. Chances aplenty on both sides.

  • 12

    @ Nama:

Lets hope its not another penalty shootout.

  • 13

Great chance for the French. Good punch away by the keeper.

  • 14

    Another one…against the cross bar.

  • 15

    @ robzim:
Maybe the winner will come in the 87th minute instead of the equalizer this time.

Another great save by the Nigerian goalie.

Then there is the goal from the resulting corner.

  • 16

There it is, France 1 / 0 Nigeria

  • 17

The French seem to have paced themselves perfectly after being on the rear foot for most of the game

  • 18

Look out for the equalizer in the 87th – 91st minute, Rob. Wink

  • 19

Another great save by the Nigerian goalie.

    France should’ve sealed it there.

    Done and dusted.

    France 2-0.

Nigerian defence went to sleep there. Both goals came after French corners.

  • 25

Oh well… it’s all over.. just saw on the other channel that Andy Murray is busy to give Kevin Anderson a tennis lesson… lets hope Algeria can do it for Africa later tonight… very unlikely though ..

  • 26

The super eagles, they are flying the low now

  • 27

    @ robzim:
Anderson is still in? In the 2nd week? He’s done well then.

I only care for the finals nowadays. Good way to spend the Sunday afternoon if you have nothing else to do.

Hi guys yes Andy Murray was able to get a bit of revenge for Saturday, seemed fairly comfortable straights sets win against Kevin Anderson although the 3rd set did go to tie break, score for Murray was 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (8-6). Lets compare the relative strengths as we did this weekend with the rugby, Murray is Scotland’s top tennis player no doubt and Anderson must be South Africa’s best player . Wink

  • 29

Not much time tonight, just popped in short and sweet, enjoy the football Bye

  • 30

    @ Nama:

Ja, he did well to get so far I suppose… I read the other day that it is the best performance by a South African at Wimbledon since Wayne Ferreira. Interesting that our tennis is so weak in comparison to golf where we produce consistently very good players.
