Seems as if Supersport is going to spare us having to watch the Brazilians doing their “lap of honour” in front of their faithful fans 🙂
I am out… catch you tomorrow during the final… Cheers.

Cheers, catch up at the final 😀
Right, gooooooo ARGENTINA!!!
Fark the Krauts, they don’t play rugby!

Of course they do…Justin Melck played for them this year
What a coincidence that the BRICS summit is held in Brazil just as the World Cup is winding down 😀 see Zuma already arrived at the stadium.
Choo choo…Nkandla style….they know how to organize, I’ll give them that
C’mon, get to the kick off and give the Germans their trophy.
Like and respect Messi as a person and player, but not in his corner for this one.
Germany, with the clinical game they possess, should take this one!
@ grootblousmile:
Evening, think most are expecting that, and with reason, but Argentina have a very good defensive and Messi needs just 1 half chance and he can change any match. He is that good
Should be much tighter than the previous matches
Interesting that Messi is a mere 67kgs, the German defense have some big units, think their defenders are the biggest of all the teams, yet even though Messi would be considered a Stormers midget in rugby terms, he is so classy that irrespective his size, he still gets the job done.
“The only fear I have is that ‘The Flea’ [Messi] is tired. He looked very tired, to me, against Holland. Even if he doesn’t score in the final, for me he is still the best player in the world. But when you are playing a World Cup final, you cannot afford to be tired”.

The reason for him being “tired” is probably emotional and not physical as the pressure on him must be immense.

If you are tired and nobody wants to give you a hand, maybe God will lend you one. 😉
At least Diego was a better player than he was a coach

Is he playing for the Sharks?
Something like a 100 000 Argentina fans descended into Brazil this week. Apparently they draped the statue in their colors, are camping all over the beach.
The Brazilians are cheering for Germany, they say they have forgiven them, but can’t stand the thought of Argentina winning and getting bragging rights, lol.
Then our Sharks friends on RT think we are bad
Final ON!

They do? Fark me, you learn something new on R-T every day! Will take your word for it but honestly can’t remember ever seeing results for them.

Berlin – Germany remain in contention for a 2015 Rugby World Cup place after Saturday’s 45-20 win over Sweden with Saracens’ ex-junior Springbok Justin Melck scoring on debut
Having been released from Saracens’ 46-6 European Cup semi-final win over Clermont to play for Germany, Cape Town-born Melck, 31, crossed for a try soon after coming off the bench for the second-half in Stockholm.
The former Western Province captain and Stormers flank then fell foul of the referee when he picked up a yellow card, but in his absence Germany pulled away for a convincing win.
“We were penalised a few times at the ruck before hand and I copped the yellow card about 20 minutes after coming on,” Melck said.
“I can’t take too much credit for my try, I was at the back of a driving maul and all the boys in front of me did the hard work. It was awesome to get my first cap and I was just delighted to be able to be part of the win.”
The bonus-point win confirms Germany’s promotion to Division 1A of the European Nations Cup, the tier below the Six Nations, and keeps the minnows in the hunt for a first World Cup appearance next year.
The Germans now face a playoff against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on May 10 and Melck hopes to be involved.
“I hope I can get released by Saracens again and hope that I can start that one if I do,” he said.
Should they beat the Dutch, Russia await Germany in a second playoff match on May 24 for a place in the repechage section against sides from Asia, Africa and South America later this year with the winner going into Pool A.

Ja, old Diego is a bit of a “malletjie”…. I will never forget the time he got so excited when the team he managed scored a goal he took a sliding dive in the mud dressed in his black Dormeuil suit. When he emerged from the mud he looked like a mudcake with eyes and jewelry.
But he could certainly play more than a bit…
Flippen hell, Messi looks so small next to the defender, but sheer pace and he left him for dead.
Brilliant player
@ nortierd:
Argies pressing hard, hey!

Play he could, but I think too much shit up the nose blew a few brain cells.
Who do you think will buy Jamie Rodriguez?
What a World Cup that kid had, think he will be in the pounds seats after this, especially if he gets the Golden Goal as well.
I see Van Gaal asked Robben to join him at United, Robben declined

Looking the better side so far, both teams have very good defense.
@ Norty Oops, sorry, meant to say
Phwwweeeeew, Argies should have scored there.. BIGGGGG missed chance!
Argentina should have been 1 up, bad miss

Thank goodness Robben declined though, I would hate to see him playing for the “Dark side”.
