    We must just hold thumbs that the Japanese do not allow Grant to play any rugby including beach touchies near Cape Town during their off season.

    Shame, poor Japanese, first they had Godzilla…..now they get Plodzilla

    “Japanese’ should read “French”, my reading is as bad as Grant’s kicking.

    @ nortierd:

    I noticed Dobson selected Rob du Preez ahead of van Aswegen for the WP team to play Kenya tomorrow and also included last year SA schools fullback EW Viljoen in the starting line up. Centre Pat Howard is also back after being injured the whole season.

    Sign of things to come?

    @Rob
    I saw that, quite an exciting team of youngsters that.
    Think you are right, Van Aswegen is still so young, but feels like he has been around for ages, ok, he has hardly been used, spends more time at the mechanics than on the road.

    @ nortierd:

    It is a pity about Gary and his injuries… seems he will never realise his potential…same as Nick Koster

    It is now up to du preez and Coleman to make use of the opportunities during the currie cup …place in the super rugby team for 2015 is up for grabs.

    Yep, still can’t help wondering how Swiel would have fared….especially these last few weeks where we have actually attempted running the ball.
    Du Preez must now be the guy to take us forward.
    Pollard is really impressing at the JWC, he will bee in the WC group next year if he gets more game time at the Bulls
