Today the 7th anniversary of the victorious Battle of Bannockburn, can David beat Golliath again can Gilchrist emulate Robert The Bruce… maybe not
O flower of Scotland
When will we see your like again
That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward’s army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again
The hills are bare now
And autumn leaves lie thick and still
O’er land that is lost now
Which those so dearly held
And stood against him
Proud Edward’s army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again
Those days are passed now
And in the past they must remain
But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
That stood against him
Proud Edward’s army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again
Gooooooooooooo Bokke!
Slay the haggis-eating, skirt-wearing, wild men of the hills of Mud Island!

@ Bullscot:
Oh dear not the 7th but the 700th anniversary
Scotland has a grand total of 101,000 registered Rugby Players.
SA has 387,000 registered players.
Scotland have NO chance today.
But………………………………they have my respect
F..K it’s still Nil All.
The Jocks are in with a chance here.
@ nortierd:
#2 yip 700 years ago today that anthem refers to.
@ Bullscot:
So today,
are you a Bullscot,
or a,
Scotbull?
@ cane:
Which other country has political interferances and shideshows like us?
Imagine if we did not have that…
@ cane:
does Scotland really have that many players? I can’t believe
@ cane: Cane with that analysis England should be the best team in the world then. 😉
@ cane:
Not going against you but some points
SA is not that bad.
After 20 years the apartheid excuse does not work.
I spent 1 year doing National Service
Prison were my other option
Please do not comment on a country you have no experience about.
Yes we are broken as a country but we are trying to heal those ills.

no way, doubt that many players here probably nearer a 5th of your number cane, population only about 5 million
I think I need to take the trip East to pe next time.
@ Bullscot:
100k is probably the population fit for military service

Yeah, it’s only a 3 or 4 Hour trip from where you are… through some of the most beautiful scenery the world offers!
I would of couse have only stopped twice (once on the way there and once on the way back)… and that would have been at Bloukrans rivier bridge, to do the 216m Bungie Jump again!!

Good idea, spread your wings as they say, I assure you once you cross the GrootBrak bridge in the direction of George you will think twice before turning back to Hartebos…just take that first step…
@ MacroBok:
#20 that many?

Just for Guys I am glad you had a giggle
@ 4man:
Sarge
Kwaggasdrift?
There is always something happening when fdp and willie combines
That few people in Scotland, they haven’t even got enough commentators to send out to SA. Ieuen Evans obviously told to stay in SA after the Welsh left to cover Scots match for Sky.
@ Pietman:
