Uruguay lack that bite they had during the group stages….seems like they just can’t sink their teeth into the match

They seem muzzled and there is a lack of hunger amongst their strikers.

It certainly is a dog eat dog world out there, they must just grab the bit between the teeth

They say every dog has it’s day but I reckon they are not going to have theirs today. In four years time they might be in with a nibble again.

Four years is a long time to wait to show your pedigree

    hahaha… vey good one.

Think I am going to hit the sack now… had a 3 and a half hour long mtb ride this morning and it is catching up to me…/ must do another long one early tomorrow morning.

See u around… have an awesome sleep 🙂

    @ robzim:
    Cheers
Just waiting to see if Uruguay can just pull one goal back

  • 64

    Colombia 2-0 Uruguay
    Final score

  • 65

Almost time for kick off….hup hup Holland
Hoping the Dutch go through, especially if they go through by winning 3-1, but the Mexicans have only conceded 3 goals so far this whole tournament, so I might be a tad optimistic with that score

  • 66

Mexico dominating so far…. lets hope it don’t last.

  • 67

    @ robzim:
They are, not giving the Dutch a sniff so far

  • 68

38.8 degrees in the shade and high humidity… European teams are sweating buckets… Robben having to apply factor 50 to his “hair” .

  • 70

Doesn’t look like the Dutch are going to win this one….and as I type the Mexicans score

  • 71

Was a farking good goal by Mexico!

    Where’s the Tequila!!

    Ariba, ariba!!

  • 72

This Mexican coach gets almost excited as Heyneke.

I wonder what the Mexican word for awesome is?

  • 73

If the Kaaskoppe go home here, it only leaves ze Germans as genuine contenders not from the Americas

  • 74

Not even Greitjie Appelmoes wil be able to score with Ochoa.
    Brilliant keeper

  • 75

Robben is so good but can be very irritating with his diving and looking for free kicks. The sod even dived into the big box looking for a penalty. I’ve been a fanof the Dutch since the Gullit, Rijkaard, van Basten era (1988) when they won the Euro championship but Robben is turning me off them in a hurry.ll/

  • 76

Kan my eie gat Skop dat ek nie n kans gevat het en die Mexicans gepick het nie.
Almal het Holland gegaan, kon mega punte gescore het

  • 77

Another good save by Ochoa denying Robben.

    @ nortierd:
Hahaha… hier kom Chicarito ook nog op en hy is lief om doele aan te teken as die supersub.

  • 79

    @ Nama:
Ochoa laat omtrent niks in nie, kan nie sien hoe Holland gaan terugkom in die game nie.
    Hup hup lughawe toe

Apparently these are the names on the short list to coach Bafana.

    • Carlos Queiroz
    • Stephen Keshi
    • Dick Advokaat
    • Frank Rijkaard
    • Giovanni Trapattoni

  • 81

    @ nortierd:

    @ nortierd:

Another great Ochoa save even though it wouldn’t have counted.

Not going to make a difference except to boost whoever gets the jobs’ pension.
    Wasn’t Queiroz already coach once?

Africans can’t play football, they think they can, but we all know better

  • 85

Het Abba nie n song oor hom gesing nie?
    😯

  • 87

    Well well
    1-1
We have a game on our hands

  • 88

With 3 minutes to go, Netherlands gets the equalizer, 1 / 1

  • 89

There’s the equaliser 3 minutes from time. Not much Ochoa could do about that string.
