The Vodacom Bulls may well add Springbok prop Trevor Nyakane to their ranks as their next acquisition when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Nyakane, who became a Springbok last season but was dropped because of disciplinary issues, is known to be on the target list of the Bulls as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2015 season.

The Bulls have been in the market since losing a host of Springboks last year, but are set to retain many of their current squad up at least until 2015 with only a handful whose contracts come up for renewal this season.
Nyakane is a strong ball carrier and his scrummaging skills are not in question, although his discipline will need to improve if he is to get back into the Bok squad again.
But there is no doubt he is a crowd pleaser as his dance skills a few weeks back after scoring against the Stormers showed.
While neither his agent BC du Plessis nor the Bulls High Performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg would confirm or deny talks with the player, the information is that the player has already had his deadline run out to re-sign with the Cheetahs and has given instructions to look elsewhere for a home next season.
According to the South African Rugby Union’s rules on player movements, teams cannot talk to players until three months before the end of their contracts with the hunting season opening on 1 June.
For this reason it is unlikely that anyone will confirm or deny Nyakane’s movements as it will be illegal for them to do so in view of SARU’s regulations.
The Cheetahs have also declined to comment on the matter with coach Naka Drotske telling supersport.com he “cannot comment on speculation.”
But it is clear that Nyakane is in the market, and after losing his regular place in the Cheetahs side will be looking for a new home.
In other news it seems the Stormers will have a tough fight trying to get Springbok Jano Vermaak to their team, as the Toulouse No 9 has extended his contract for a year and is apparently happy to stay at the French club.
Goeie nuus. Coenie kan dan weer terugskuif na 1 waar hy nog altyd moes gespeel het.
