10,000 spectators only? We have that for a midweek match in Gansbaai…

  • 130

Good win Sharks – but was heart in mouth for final 2 minutes.

  • 131

    @ Pietman:
It’s the ref’s fan club. Modest-sized at this point, but will grow after this performance.

  • 132

    @ Pietman:
thays the rebels average attendance this year

  • 133

    Rebels (6) 16 / 22 (15) Sharks (Final Score)

    @ kaksioek:
Despite his failure to ultimately deliver the result the crowd wanted, he fought hard to the end.

  • 135

    Off to work. Cheers all

  • 136

    @ kaksioek:
    @ MacroBull:
Imagine what it would with new format…

  • 137

    @ Pietman:
well with the current format our stadiums have 10 000 more zpectarltors watch local derbies than teams from the other side.

  • 138

    spectators haha

  • 139

    @ Pietman:
Well, it’s the format the Aussies want, so … 10,001?

  • 140

sharks won the rebels vs sharks kick fest… stupid gameplan from the rebels.

  • 141

    @ MacroBull:
our stadiums have an average of 32 000 for local derbies and 22 000 for local teams vs overseas teams.

  • 142

too bad tim whitehead and meyer bosma. left the sharks. I honestly believe they would have complimented the backline

  • 143

fark me the blues look good.

  • 144

See dear old Toetie is not the only one with kak gameplans

  • 145

    @ Gena_ZA:
hey did you get my mail? not sure if it was the right one

  • 146

The Aussie Ref penalised the Rebels time and again in the 1st half, awarded the Sharks 5 kickable penalties, nothing you will ever see under Peyper or Joubert in SA 😉
Decision to Disallowed Mvovo a penalty try was correct; Mvovo didn’t have a control of the ball, actually he didn’t even touch it, the odds he would have scored were pretty slim
The Rebels looked a ragtag collection, they need some SA injection to become a factor
The Sharks got their win as expected

  • 147

    71 @ IAAS:
Ok cheers for the explanation on that one, I was focussing on the part where the ball went backwards from the Clermont player over the dead ball line and thought that was what was penalized, missing an earlier knock on then that you referred to.

  • 148

    Congratulations Sharks!

Not a perfect game, but points in the bag.

Sorry for you guys that wanted the Sharks to lose, maybe you will get your wish next week.

  • 149

@ Snoek: Don’t worry, they WILL get their wish next week!

    Happy-Grin

The Bulls have 3 home games and the Sharks 3 games overseas.

    15 points for the bulls.

So if the Sharks don’t manage another win overseas they should be close to equal when the Sharks return.

Keep smiling Bulls, you guys are still in it.
