11 @ IAAS:
Hi IAAS as have ‘tuned in’ late here for this one and not watching I see your comment about the incident that Sarries got the penalty try for. Really don’t know the laws well enough but to me was surprised it was awarded, the ball went backwards over the deadball line off the Clermont player, and it looked like it was all happening fairly quickly as well so even debatable that it was ‘deliberate’, but even if it was deliberate are you not allowed to do that? What does the law say in that situation must a player just sit back and let the try be scored if he is in no position to dive on it and dot it down to prevent the try, would he be allowed to hack at it and kick it out behind the dead ball line or into touch in the in goal area or would that also be penalty try territory.

Some nice rugby from both sides being spoilt by basic errors
Sharks need a fiver… still at risk here.

thats a knock on

Watter strand in Pta?
@ Bullscot:
You are not allowed to deliberately knock the ball on – even in the deadball area. And the French player had a second go at the ball – when he flicked the ball over the deadball line.
But to be fair, the Sarries player never looked like having control of the ball – so in that instance a penalty try was harsh. Should’ve been just a penalty against Clermont.

Beautiful try.
Great passing skills by Sharks backline – waiting to draw the man before letting the ball go.
Nice try by JP Pietersen, Sharks!
Deadly on the counter attack

On the last bit of battery power here, so thanks for taking over.
Think I did not manage to score the last Rebels penalty either.
Advantage white not rolling – on their try line! 😆
