I think Jake did HM a huge favour by playing Percy at fullback, Mvovo a must for WC2015 now, as a versatility back, as Frans Steyn had been in France WC2007.

    @ Pietman:
Yes, I also thought Jake was full of it when he said Mvovo could play fullback for the Boks – but he obviously saw something we didn’t. That’s why he earns the big bucks.

    @ kaksioek:
True, and Mvovo is a robust player, not injury prone, just what we need vs the Kiwis…I am sure HM/JW are in consultation regarding his further management, would be foolhardy if they don’t.

    @ Pietman:
On a different topic, I wonder why Elton is starting for the Lions today instead of Boshoff?

  • 127

    @ kaksioek:
    Yes, saw that.
But Boshoff has been a bit out of tune with his kicking lately, and Elton takes the ball a bit flatter and closer to the gameline, perhaps Acker wants to attack closer to the tight phases?

  • 128

    @ Pietman:
Well, hope it pays off. But I’m not holding my breath. I think Boshoff has been great, and would have liked to see Ackermann keep backing him.
