    Weetie wat dit is nie, is net jammer, mens moes die ANC net onder 50% kon gehou het in Gauteng.

    Sien die DA is hier net oor 58% in die Weskaap… en die res van die land is ANC s’n met nagenoeg 2 derde meerderhede of net meer of net minder oral.

    Overall is dit ANC met sowat 62%, gelukkig te min vir 2 derdes meerderheid.

    Ja, lykmy hoe minder geleerdheid en armer ‘n provinsie oor die algemeen het of is, hoe beter vaar die ANC en hoe meer welvaart en geleerdheid (Weskaap en Gauteng), hoe meer gematig en hoe gelyker is die syfers.

    @97 Dis die probleem met one man one vote, dit gee jou nie noodwendig’ regering deur die bestes’ (aristokrasie) nie (Sokrates het dit al in die antieke tye gekritiseer).
    Gevolglik het die werklose verkragter in n plakkerskamp dieselfde stemreg as jy wat eiendom besit en belasting betaal; maar hulle is slim genoeg om dit te omseil met “previously disadvanced” logika.
    Ons benodig gekealifiseerde stemreg, soos in Switzerland…dink ek.

    Ons sal nooit so iets hier kan kry nie, die “Haves” en “Have Nots” kwessie sal altyd opspring… hulle wil juis die vote kry by en van die “Have Nots” om hulle magsbasis rondom te bou.

    Interessante sisteem wat Switserland het, met Parlementêre representasie nie volgens area nie maar volgens Party se persentasie van die stemme.

    I am a big fan of Proportional Representation, because a person’s vote becomes more equal, whereas in an Area-bound System, you have voting areas with much fewer voters and areas with a huge number of voters… each area voting for only 1 representative.

    Thus, in an Area bound System, in the area with fewer voters, your vote literally actually counts more than your vote would in a voter number loaded area.

    In a Proportional System, that inequality is eliminated.
