Cheetahs captain Adriaan Strauss has been cited for a lifted tackle in his sides loss against the Stormers.
Strauss was Yellow Carded by referee Stuart Berry for the incident that happened in the 23rd minute of the Cheetahs dismissal display at wet and windy Newlands.

Strauss lifted Stormers wing, Kobus van Wyk beyond the 90 degrees and drove him downwards.
The Cheetahs were humbled 33-0 points on Saturday as the Stormers ran in two tries in the first half and two in the second.
The citing commissioner, after further review of the match footage, deemed the incident had met the red card threshold for foul play and as such should be reviewd by a SANZAR judicial officer.
