Super RugbyIt is Round 16 of Super Rugby 2014 this weekend, the last Round before the June Test Break! We have 7 games in Round 16, with 2 game on Friday and 5 games on Saturday.

The Toyota Cheetahs have a BYE weekend.

In June / July 2014 the Antipodian teams will catch up in played games with the South African counterparts, when the South African sides sit out for 1 Round.

The Combined Log will therefore be skewed for the majority of the competition and one has to question why individual countries are allowed to start such a long competition ahead of it’s rivals. In 2013 the Australian sides started a week early, but at least they had the excuse that they needed an extra week in the middle of the year to prepare for the British & Irish Lions series, which they lost.

June tests are a waste of time really. Most teams coming here nrver come with their best. It is the RC what counts for us as there we play full strength kiwi and aussie sides as well as the arg sides. The eoyt is only when we play full strength nh dides that is the only time I am interested in when or Boks play the nh teams. June tesrs should be dropped if we don’t face there best. See Tony Johonson feels the same.

    @ Puma:
Means we can win some of their lineouts now  πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

And only Vermeulen is in the current Bok side.
JdJ won’t play and de Allende has never played, they aren’t even contracted, so you can’t compare them to a first choice Bok being forced to play while injured

  • 71

Okay back later. Need to see what these builders are doing. Only a few snags to do.

    Go Sharks!… Approve

  • 72

    @ Sharks_forever:
because it’s Alistair coetzee. known abuser of players

Named group means nothing, lots of p,ayers are in the group that don’t play for the Boks, also, he isn’t forced to play with an injury is he?

  • 74

    @ nortierd:
If you are called up you are a part of the plans, sorry boet but De Jong also has a niggle.

Again you are stressing but and like you said, jumping the AK47 πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Bulldust, a test is a test.
You almost sound like your coach now before we lost to Ireland, can give Wales their team talk by saying this test means nothing, they are useless.

Steyn will, we also all know that

Tell that to Robert Ebersohn, wasn’t he also called up to the group last year this time?

  • 79

    @ nortierd:
Actually we do not know that? even before the Steyn injury came to the fore the press were talking about the BUlls center at 12….. blame it on news24  πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

  • 80

Damn Nortier and MB, u2 are seriously stressed out πŸ˜† I say it is time for a cold one

  • 81

    @79
He would have been in the match 23, whether he starts or plays off the bench.
According to SharksWorld he is the most valuable player in, not just South Africa, but the whole wide world

I’m merely failing to see where I’m stressed about anything.

  • 86

    @ nortierd:
I thank they fail to see that we are seeing an extremely funny side to this sharks campaign, especially the round about of opinions on jake white after the brumbies game and now Overjoy

  • 87

Jake White from Zero to hero to zero to hero… all in one year haha

  • 88

    76 @ nortierd:

So do you really think playing Scotland B side who is worse than or Vodacom teams is great for Bok rugby? Really? We beat them full strength eoyt and they got a big fat 0 against us. That my friend sums up these pointless June tests which they have been for years until nh send their best here. The kiwis and aussies feeel the same. Only interested when we play NZ and Aus RC later this year. Now that is where watching our Boks is exciting and when the tour nh end of year as we play full strength teams then. Tony Johnson feels the same and he is a kiwi. They sending a under strength team from England down there this June and France also sending a under strength team down under. I get no pleasure watching us playing under strength teams at all.

  • 89

    @ Puma:
Why do you guys keep ignoring the welsh who are sending their strongest possible side, een playing trials beforehand, its pointless to keep bringing up the “scotland b side”.

  • 90

    @Puma 88
You fail to see the bigger picture.
There is merely a handful of tests left before the WC, every game HM has with the side is valuable. The opposition is irrelevant in his plans and combinations.
The fact remains, the guys running out in the green and gold should still be honored as they are representing their country, hence I don’t believe that there is a nothing test.
