We have reached the knockout stage of the 2013 / 2014 RaboDirect PRO12 season with the semi-finals to be played this weekend. The first game takes place in Glasgow tonight (Friday) and will see Glasgow Warriors, who finished in second spot on the log host third placed Munster. This is the first time that Glasgow Warriors have hosted a semi-final game in the PRO12.
The second game, to be played tomorrow (Saturday) will be an all Ireland affair with first placed Leinster hosting fourth placed Ulster. Johan Muller, in his last season at the club, will be captaining Ulster and will be hoping for a win to make it one more game before the curtain falls on what has been a very good time for him at the Belfast club.

Glasgow’s Jonny Gray is Ed Kalman’s man of the match
Knock on from Glasgow hands possession back to Munster, scrum a few metres inside Glasgow half less than 4 min left!
Munster passing and running, Glasgow defending, can it last
Munster going backwards but still have possesion
Intercept by Seymour he should have been away for the try but just had to check his run as he stumbled a bit, let off for Munster
Glasgow still have it a few metres out just over a minute left!
Arghhh penalty TO Munster just near their try line and they take play to Munster 10m line for a lineout
Last bit of play of the game surely, will anyone score as Munster have it and Glasgow tackling hard
Munster keeping it alive, a few metres inside their half and drop it backwards but keep hold of it
GLASGOW WIN!!!!!!!
Big tackle and ball went into touch off Munster so that’s it, what a match and what a result for the home crowd who are making a big noise
Final score: Glasgow Warriors 16/15 Munster
Almighty battle betweem toulon and racing metro, metro just threw their chances away
Captain Al Kellock being interviewed, just over, you could see and hear the delight, one of the things he said “We had to be good for 80 minutes and we were good for 80 minutes”
Mike Phillips is such a p###
a poep he is a poep 🙄
Time to shut up shop, what a fantastic game to watch, if anyone can get hold of a replay footage I would highly recommend it. Great stuff first PRO12 final for Glasgow coming up 31st May. Will it be Leinster or Ulster we shall know this time tomorrow. Hopefully Ulster win then Glasgow don’t have to travel to Ireland for the final. Good night all
@ Bullscot:
Goodnight Scottie, is Glasgow your team?
78 @ MacroBull:
Howzit MacroBull sorry man just seen your comments know was so busy focussing on the game, yes Glasgow Warriors are my team so am on an absolute high just wish I could have been there at the ground to see it, the crowd sounded amazing! What was the result in the Toulon/Racing game? I didn’t see if it was on but I may have been able to watch it via my internet provider who give me some French and Premiership rugby as a freebie at the moment, but tonight it was all about the PRO12 for me.
@ Bullscot:
Toulon won 16-6.
Congrats with your teams win! seems like they have some good momentum going.
I only watches the end of the game after the Game of Thrones.
80 @ MacroBull:
Great thanks for that MacroBull so that will be two finals for Toulon, two weekends in a row. Just shows that money buys titles.
80 @ MacroBull:
Yes if I have it right this was Glasgow’s 9th win in a row so things are looking good at the moment. Two weeks time it will be the final am so hoping we can win the title for the first time. Must really head away now, have a good night there mate
Aaaargh.
It was my 12 year old daughter’s birthday yesterday and she had a sleepover with a load of her friends.
They were all sleeping in the lounge so I went to watch the conclusion of the Saints – Tigers game in the room.
So little miss muffet decides to get clever and watch a movie on a USB and promptly manages to pull the co-ax cable out of the DSTV decoder thereby rendering me Rugbyless for the last 12 minutes or so of the game.
It would appear that I missed a mighty finale by the Saints, but what a game. So much passion and aggro’, sometimes not too well contained.
I certainly think NH Rugby has just about caught up to us in the South.
Ah well. Just a flying visit. Now off to work for the day.
Enjoy the Football everyone.
@ Scrumdown:
ahh that’s a shame Scrumdown must have been a good one two, see Northampton squeaked home 21/20 in the end. So that’s both semi finals last night that ended in 1 point wins for the home teams.
