India is a class act.
This is not a choke by the Proteas, a choke is when we are the overwhelming favorites and lose it, we were never favorites here
The Virat Kohli show…
Another year another disappointment…
Well done India…
So we choke without, Kallis, without Smith, without Boucher…………..
India win with 5 balls to spare and win by 6 wickets!
@ nortierd:
Not a choke but amateur bowling… a good enough score but bowlers just not good enough…
Magnificent batting by Kohli.
Not much anyone could do about it.
Final should be a thriller of note.
So the rulers of the cricket world stroll into the final…
Het game verloor in eerste 3 beurte van Indië kolfbeurt, Steyn wat te laat boul asook AB wat nie lopies gekry het nie en Kohli wel.
Nog ‘n jaar sonder ‘n beker, eish.
OK, the Cricket is done for South Africa, tomorrow the Bulls, Lions, Cheetahs & Stormers must hold SA’s name high!
@Gummi
Yep, but not surprising from the bowlers?
Steyn saved us against NZ with 1 excellent over, the rest of the bowlers were poor.
Tahir saved us some blushes against the Dutch, the rest of the bowlers were poor.
The bowling in general has been poor right throughout the tournament
Seems SA lost the ladies semi’s against England too.
At least Carol Bluebird will be happy 🙂
I just wish I can go and give Raina a PK against the ear.
@ nortierd:
Abbott was a strange omission… He has been so good the whole year…
But as is verbrande hout… Ons gaan huistoe…

They were annihilated.
5 run outs, it’s difficult running with an iron board and a bundle of washing I tell you.
Still, they did well to make the semi’s

He was… but so was Hendricks at Provincial level.. bowling to an in form Kohli at this level is a different ball game I suppose.
@ nortierd:
😆
Vernon Phillander sitting in the SuperSport studio.
Why didn’t SS contract Parnell, Hendricks and M. Morkel instead and send Vern over to Bangladesh
@ robzim:
Howzit bud. Did you see the pitch mat? It is not that you are bowling at Kohli in full swing it is bowling short trackers which get sent to the boundary or over it… The one or two yorkers were on the money, yet we bowled half trackers… I hear what you say, but we were really poor on the day…
@ nortierd:
“t’s difficult running with an iron board and a bundle of washing I tell you”
hahaha… that comment might make u unpopular in certain circles.
@ Gumboots:
Lets hope the Stormers do not disappoint us tomorrow as well…. i am not very positive though
robzim wrote:
Tomorrow we win
@ robzim:
It has been a poor start to the season and I can’t see them coming back from that type of start… four losses on the trot on tour was not what we needed… Now it is catch up – and some catching up is needed… Lets hope for some positives – not too positive either…
@ nortierd:
Jy is flokken snaaks…
@ nortierd:
Of course…AC has said Deon Will find his jumpers tomorrow…. so who are we to doubt?
The fact that he could not find them during the previous 5 years of trying is not at all important.. AC knows best
In die verlede het ons kolwers ge-choke, vanaand die boulers se beurt?
Gumboots wrote:
No, true story
Moenie worry nie, watch net
@ robzim:
Oh for sure… in he we believe…
@Robzim
That does boggle the mind, AC and his loyalty to Deon.
Maybe we will go back to the 1970’s and have the wings feed the line outs?
Even with the loss of line out ball, we will win.
@ nortierd:
..but you said the pressure will tell in this game as well and the walzed to victory…
I believe in miracles though… and in AC not…
Nag mense…
Go Bulls… Go Stontjagtertjies (just because Norty said so) and then all the rest of the rest…
