14 @ cane: Cheers, mate!
15 @ nortierd:
If the ball had to get into Wykes or Speight’s hair… it could easily get lost in that jungle!
24 @ cane:
Try Fardy, Ponies!
Try time Brumbies.
Brumbies 7 / 0 Force
Farken hell, the Force must put on some bibs, so far they look like they are just there to help the Brumbies practice.
Ponies penalty, inside their own half
If Nic White had to stand feet flush together, he would still not be able to catch a sheep between his legs, he’s so bow-legged!
At least he can say he’s not knock-kneed.
Another Ponies penalty, 44m out…
@ grootblousmile:
And Hell Oh to you Groot.
Try Jesse Mogg!
Try Mogg or feet out?
Nope it is a try
Brumbies 14 / 0 Force
Excellent kick by White
Attaboys!!!
41 @ cane:
Have you found your feet here on R-T… and how do you find it here, honestly?
Pak 131 almal uit.
Jong Proteas moet net nie choke nie.
Boy, did I back the wrong horse in this game
Force look terrible, Brumbies look better than last week, but already squandered more tries
Farce penalty, 55m out
50 @ nortierd:My favourite horsey joke:
A horse walks into a bar
and the barman says:
“Why the long face?”
😆
The Southern Hemisphere pitches are just soooooo much better than the Northern Hemisphere Test venue pitches.
Try Robbie Coleman, Ponies!
Brumbies looking good
Stormers touring party has been announced…
Brumbies 21 / 0 Force
All to easy for Brumbies. Damn can’t believe the Sharks miss playing the Force this year. Think every team will pick up 5 points playing them.
DHL Stormers head coach Allister Coetzee has announced a 27-man squad for his team’s four-match Super Rugby tour of Australasia.
Centre Jean de Villiers will lead the squad abroad, a group that includes new Samoan star Sailosi Tagicakibau and the Japan-based Peter Grant, but excludes Argentinean lock Manuel Carizza.
Carizza suffered a wrist injury in last night’s gusty 19-18 win over the Hurricanes at DHL Newlands and will be out of action for eight weeks.
As a result, former DHL WP Under-21 star Ruan Botha will travel with the squad, joining fit-again second row De Kock Steenkamp as one of the locking options in the 27-man group – alongside Rynhardt Elstadt and Michael Rhodes, who were both part of the 23-man squad last night.
Coach Coetzee commented: “It’s very unfortunate for Manuel – he tore ligaments in his wrist and he will be out for two months.
“That said, Ruan has a great opportunity to get some game time after showing plenty of promise during our pre-season matches and, of course, it’s great to have De Kock Steenkamp in the group too now that he’s back to full fitness.
“We’re happy with last night’s victory. We know we can still improve in many areas, but we’re happy to be heading abroad with that ‘W’ behind our name and we will build on that in what will be a very challenging tour.”
The DHL Stormers will depart for New Zealand on Sunday at lunch-time. The squad will fly – via Sydney – into Christchurch ahead of their opening tour match against the Crusaders next Saturday.
