    Must say he and Flip was a good combo, both were on fire. Now its not that great against the Sharks

    Yep, Flip is a big loss, not from the captaincy point of view, Vic is a better captain, but from a playing view. Flip has been good this year.

    Watching the game I was perplexed by that try too
    However
    The amount of offside, obstructions (in the format of accidental decoy runs)and illegal hits committed by the Blues were huge to say the LEAST!
    And the Blues got away with most!
    so let’s not fall after that wagon load of screaming baboyans that the NZ and the Aussies are, to quote Phil Kearns’ famous comment about the ABs
    Saying that Peyper, Berry and the van der Merwe should never assigned to such games by SANZAR

    @Hondo
    Seeing that Boshoff got so many opportunities to kick at goal, and Lambie and Steyn as well for that matter, I’m not sure with how much these visiting teams get away with.
    To me it seems like just about every time they are within shot they do get a penalty.

    hey nortie. I see folau got nearly 49 points on superbru. but the problem is I cant think that anyone who takes it seriously does not have him in their team by now. amd as captain.

    Yep, if it wasn’t for him as captain I would be very badly off
    Higgenbotham got me 11 thanks too that try
    I’m stuffed at lock though, just transferred Flip in, now he got injured and my reserve is Whitelock who is on a bye

    More Nortjie broer, Sal nie kan want ek het gewone kaartjies, and ek het ook my vrou en n ander paartjie wat saam met ons kom, anders sou ek.

    @ Sharks_forever:
    Halloooooo Sardynjagter!

    Wetie broer, ek het n gevoel hierdie is die een plaaslike wedstryd wat die Sharks dalk mag gly.
    J-L Potgieter op sy stukke pale toe, n sterk vaste vyf selfs sonder Flip,en met Dewald Potgieter terug om Marcel Coetzee vas te le en die ‘off-loads verder te vat, asook Jan en JJ met vinnige balontvangs in die middelveld mag dalk net amok maak teen die Sharks-senters….alles gaan afhang wie die balbesit en veral die bal op die grond gaan beheer.

    Twee spanne feitlik gelyk in alle opsigte, maar ek het die Bulle met 2 punte, hoofsaaklik weens Matfield se teenwoordigheid en die tuisveld voordeel.

  • 136

    Will be sitting on the east stand, also have to rush after the match as we have a function with the Sharks team and management at the LC de Villiers stadium.

    Next time, we aren’t going to Loftus, we are getting together for the Stormer game.
    Atlas’ company didn’t take the suite again, huge pity, but you must enjoy the game, last year the vibe at Loftus for the Bulls v Sharks was even better than for the test, should be awesome again today, at least a 50/50 split in the stands, but before full time after the Bull supporters start leaving you will have the stadium to yourselves
    Overjoy

    @ nortierd:
    O okaaay, ek onthou Gumboots ja, hy was eers onder n ander nic op Voldy, saam met Dawn, Ruck en daai asters destyds.

  • 139

    @ Pietman:
    Although I know this match is going to be very difficult for the Sharks Pieta I know we have it in us to beat them.

    As for the matchups? Eish boet the Sharks have a far stronger Center pair and are just as attacking as the Bulls pair, but defensively much beter.

    Tight five the Sharks I think will just just be beter off, and as for Potgieter vs Marcell? eish boet Marcell has probably been the form Flank is SA so far.

  • 140

    @ nortierd:
    😆 boet, true what you say and Loftus will be 50-50 in support

  • 141

    @ Sharks_forever:
    Gummy boots gaan nie happy met jou wees nie 😆

    @ Sharks_forever:
    East stand? I still have battle scars after a hit to the forehead by a Coke can, but way back then I wore a WP hat, unawares that it was the red zone for any Capie….silly me.
    WP won 9-3 that day, three penalties by Calla Scholtz in his white tennis shoes.

    Another problem there is the sun setting over the grand stand on the west side.

  • 143

    @ Sharks_forever:
    @139 Very 50-50, I agree.
    But Sharks without the ball will be neutralized, me thinks, especially if DocJannieMoangat starts falling apart up front again.

  • 144

    @Pietman
    Jannie is the only weak link in the Shark side.
    Bulls at home is difficult, but I will stick to my prediction that the Sharks will beat all the other SA sides both home and away.
    Daai Oos paviljoen is nie n plek vir foreigners nie

  • 145

    Sevens rugby in Tokyo on now, Day 1, SA vs Japan in about 30 minutes.

    Ek weet nie wat die temp vandag in Petoorsdorp is nie, maar drink maar genoeg bier voor die tyd, n man ontwater daar aan die oostekant, raak woes warm, veral as jy swart dra…… Overjoy
