    This is one that we CAN win.
    Doesn’t mean that we will though.

    Hello, sorry not applicable to this thread but time too short to do article, seen that Scott Johnson has named his forwards to face Wales, he will wait until tomorrow to finalize his backline due to various injuries. Forwards: 1 Ryan Grant ,2 Scott Lawson ,3 Geoff Cross ,4 Richie Gray ,5 Jim Hamilton,6 Ryan Wilson ,7 Kelly Brown ,8 David Denton

    Replacements : 16 Ross Ford ,17 Alasdair Dickinson ,18 Euan Murray ,19 Tim Swinson,20 Alasdair Strokosch

    Backline squad : Chris Cusiter, Jack Cuthbert,Alex Dunbar ,Max Evans ,Dougie Fife ,Stuart Hogg,Ruaridh Jackson ,Lee Jones ,Greig Laidlaw ,Matt Scott ,Duncan Taylor ,Richie Vernon,Duncan Weir.

    Interesting to see Richie Vernon who is now converted into a centre from loose forward in the squad. He only started the process this season so has adapted very well in a short space of time. Doubt Johnson would split up the Scott/Dunbar partnership so if Vernon is to play it would have to be from the bench. A bit tricky with the injuries to the wingers if the likes of Evans isn’t ready wouldn’t be surprised to Duncan Taylor starting on the wing, can do with his bulk against the big Welsh wings.

    @Loosehead
    Agree, it’s not a bad Cheetah side at all, but the Canes are in such strife, they might just decide to play for their coach.
    Difficult one to call

    Both sides can “kick” and roll the other over I think.
    Who needs it most?
    Will the Canes play Ardie Savea and will they use the classy back line properly
    Will Sarel and Willie get the magic going for us?

    Time will tell as both sides are desperate now
