Cheetahs prop Coenie Oosthuizen has received good news after seeing a specialist over his injured neck.
Sport24
The Bok tighthead was sent home from the Cheetahs’ Australian Super Rugby tour and there were fears the injury could be serious.
However, Oosthuizen could be ready for action in about three weeks’ time after receiving “good news” from the specialist.
The Cheetahs were thumped 60-27 by the Hurricanes last weekend and will face the Blues in Auckland on Saturday.
They are also sweating over the availability of centre Francois Venter (shoulder) and wing Raymond Rhule (ankle) who were both injured against the ‘Canes.
The duo will undergo scans on Monday.
Very good news indeed!
