Australia getting thumped.
Hopefully we don’t play India in our semi
@ nortierd:
They seem unstoppable.
Mixed bag of a sporting weekend for me….
On the plus side… Proteas winning the cricket… Liverpool FC currently busy to destroy Spurs
On the negative… Stormers losing, Australia losing, Sharks winning 🙂
Neutral: the rest.
@ nortierd:
Our net run rate is very poor, so the best we can do is end second. Second plays first – so that means we play India in the semi final. It will be very tough as these conditions suit them to the tee. They have a team full of spinners and we play one with a make shift one too. Our quickies, apart from Steyn are a real concern. I don’t know what strategy the team will take. You have to bad first against them and hope they panic in the run chase… Either way it is going to be tough. To be honest just making the semi final is way beyond what anyone of us originally thought. Well we have made it to the knock out stages so anything can happen. We just need a very good day and luck here and there and who knows…
Don’t you just love the way the Ozzies got thumped. They were so vocal in the press about how they were going to beat the opposition, yet they are rock bottom. A lesson is to play the game on the field and not to make stupid comments…
@Gummi
This was the first game they set a target so far this tournament, so chasing doesn’t seem like a problem for them. They look good and set to take the tournament.
@Robzim
Lol, like Macrobull, you are allowed to make a comment like that regarding the Sharks without incurring the wrath of the supporters here ( both of them )
@ nortierd:
They are playing in their own conditions – sub continent – so suited for them. They rule cricket so generally get what they want… Get them to panic and they look very average. Give them confidence and they look unbeatable… It is going to be very tough… I think it could be a subcontinent final – India vs Sri Lanka… that is if they beat WI…
@Gummi
Today they were in a bit of strife for the first time, and Youvrav stepped up.
They are well set, bowlers and batsmen in form.
I also think India v Sri Lanka in the final
I hope Sri Lanka beat the Windies, saves us from having to see that idiotic gangham dancing moves
@ nortierd:
Do you think they got it from the Stormers?
You do know why they did it? The Ozzies were very vocal in the media about the Windies… They were just rubbing it in – BIG TIME…
@Gummi
Lol, de Jongh is a Windie?
It’s an old thing when Bravo and Gale get together.
If Haddin hadn’t missed that stumping of Gale the Aussies probably would have won, but they were poor this tournament.
For ET’s sake it would be better if they don’t go through
@ grootblousmile:
If you see this have a look at the Draft and make the call
Great performance by India sending the arrogant Aussies packing.
We’ve dealt quite well with Ashwin at home the last time around but now he is in his own environment. SWA should the toss, set a big target (180+) and bowl very well. Steyn needs some help from the other quickies and Duminy needs to be given a full compliment of 4 overs.
Fransie gets a off field yellow………
So pleased we have him for the Lions game.
To all the Sharks Lovers especially Nortie you can smile now bud….hehe.
See Jake has done his homework proper and also winding up the our teams supporters and they falling for it tooo……. Hehe love it Jake keep it coming…..hahahaha…

Should read. Other teams supporters.
Well done to my Sharks. That was a powerful display of rugby played on Saturday.
Well done to every player from the Sharks they stood up as a team and put in a terrific performace. Very proud of my team and pleased we have Jake as our coach.
Well done to all the supporters for going to Kings Park to support our boys. Its starting to look like the old times there when huge crowds went to the game. See there were 35 000 at the game well done. I will be there for the next two home games before they depart for there away tour.
Go Sharks!
