McLean breaks the Irish midfield again
Italy giving the Irish a serious run for their money, Most unexpected, but great to watch
Ag nee
Open tryline, all that hard work and he knocks it
Irish scrum 5m from their own line
Italy inside Ireland 22, but penalty goes against them. They’re being their own worst enemies. Ireland take a quick one, and Kearney makes a great run into Italy 22
Henderson should have passed
Ireland 8m out, forwards with the ball
They swing it wide, but Italians up to it.
TRYYYYY, Trimble in the corner. Thanks BOD, again
Conversion good.
Ireland 17 / 7 Italy (38 min)
Halftime.
Ireland 17 / 7 Italy
I’ve got Ireland by 20, so halfway there
@ nortierd:Haha, they will hopefully improve in the second half, and get you to your score line!
Just seen some of the Womens 6N, some of those girls have bigger (muscular) thighs than their male counterparts, I am sure. Upper bodies are pretty well built too!
BOD has had a very good game so far, lets hope his farewell 40 min is just as good. What a player
Second half on
Ireland start with a great driving maul 30m gained and a penalty to boot
Ireland lineout ion Italy 10m line, and they drive again
Sexton off sides as BOD chips to corner
…and upshot is, after all their hard work, they are driven back to halfway, and Italy have the throw in
Great work in the ruck from that relatively unknown loose forward Brian O’Driscoll – I don’t know why Ireland don’t just let the rest of the team go home – leave BOD to turn the lights off, he’s unstoppable at the moment!
Hand bags, and non other that Paul O’Connor at the centre of it.
Also hoping BOD gets a farewell try.
I’ll steer clear of those women players, the NZ girls look ok, but it’s the 7’s team
Playground stuff, but penalty against Tebaldi
Ireland kick up to 10m out, and throw in
Ireland lose the ball as excellent Italian defence drives the Irish back to gain scrum
Ireland hard on attack again, 5m out
3m out
…and penalty given, quick tap, and TRYYYYYYYYYY
Healy with that on as he is driven over by O’Comnnell
