The Eastern Province Kings again dipped into the Sharks Tank’s resources to bolster their Currie Cup squad.
The EP Kings revealed on Monday that they have signed Springbok and former Shark Shaun Sowerby as their new forwards coach.

EP Rugby CEO Charl Crous said Sowerby, who has made a name for himself playing at No 8, would be joining the Currie Cup coaching team in May.
“We have a young coaching group that we are grooming and putting together for the long haul, ahead of our re-entry into Super Rugby,” Crous said.
“The idea was to get young, dynamic coaches – such as Carlos Spencer who joined us last year, Michael Horak who joins us from Tuesday, and now Shaun Sowerby.
“This coaching unit can grow together and take us forward in the years to come,” he added.
Sowerby, who played a single Test for the Springboks in 2002, will turn 36 in July.
He captained the Sharks in 2003, before moving to France in 2004 when he joined Stade Français.
Sowerby has also had a stint at Toulouse and currently plies his trade for Grenoble.
Earlier this year he announced his intent to retire as a player and take up coaching.
Well it makes a change from the Sharks pillaging the ranks of their youth teams……
EP Taking a nice route into the immediate future.
Hopefully they make a decent fist of their “return” to top flight local football.
