185 @ Sharks_forever:
Stormers were complacent and believed their own BS.
The wheel turns. Sometimes fukcing slowly, but it does.
Now the Lions must keep their feet on the ground for the trip across the Jukskei.
@ Scrumdown:
Injuries some concern, though, Minnie is a big loss.
@ Scrumdown:
Agree boet, ben saying that for a while now.
Pick made for next week against the Hurricanes
Canes by 30, fuck the Stormers
187: almal het verwag die Sharks gaan hul twee wedstryde wen, nie die Leeus nie, gun hul so bietjie ‘n plek in die sonnetjie ? ;-
@ Ben:
Rugby is nie an moffie sport nie lol, soos die stormers vanaand uitgevind het, Sharks have more points so no gimme’s lol
Sharks should easily beat the Lions, no disrespect, but they’ve had 2 good games against pisspoor opponents.
The Chiefs and Saders and Reds will take them apart, they will probably win next week against a poor Bulls side as well, but then they will run into decent opponents.
@ nortierd:
Easily?? hell no boet this team has a good pack, solid defense and a great kicker, never underestimate.
Why you think I went with Lions to win on SB?? Lions are playing with a lot of Pride, excuse the pun.

True, but at some stage pride will take a back seat against class.
You think the Sharks, Crusaders, Chiefs, Waratahs, Reds etc won’t have pride?
They will match the pride, but have better teams. Lions have won 2 without scoring tries or looking like scoring, which is great for them, but what do you think will happen when they meet a side that can easily score 3 or more tries?
Well done Lions while some may have thought you could win this am sure the margin of victory has astounded all. Looking at the resources and the trials of the last few seasons these last two results tell me there is good coaching going on there. The season is long so don’t want to be too dramatic about things yet, but certainly for now Lions fans can savour these wins.
Norty @ 197
I agree…
This is the worst Stormer team since the days of Kabus van de Merwe.
Aplon is over the hill… de Allende and van Wyk are centres… Catrakilles is never going to be good enough at this level… Schreuder is even worse… Schalk B is over the hill… AC’s gameplan (fatties far too often as first receiver) is very tired…etc..
It’s going to be a very long year for a Stormer supporter… mid table finish at the most..
197 @ nortierd:
Some good perspective nortierd, didn’t watch the game but just looking at the score sheets and I see one try so they have scored, but more than that I see a team that has relied on flyhalf (a former Blue Bull) to kick all the other points. Funny though when us Blue Bulls have done this it has been labelled ‘boring Bulls rugby’ but today all and sundry are praising the Lions for their efforts, this is no judgement on the Lions but just a curious observation.
@ nortierd:
Correction, Nortie: The Lions scored a try against the Stormers 😆

One in 2 games, yep, I’m not convinced they will stand up against decent opposition.
I said earlier in the week that this is a terrible Stormer side and I stand by my conviction.
The Lions have done well in the 1st two rounds, but we can’t discount the fact that the Cheetahs and Stormers are not close to title contenders, or even top 6 material
Sharks looking likely to be the only SA side in the top 6 and I do believe they will dispose of the Lions, as well as the other SA sides with ease, home and away, and I have made that statement here earlier, and I stand by that.
Stormers will be nowhere this year, same coaches and gameplan but much worst players than before

Howzit Khaki, welcome here, now pissoff, we have enough Sharks supporters already, lol
Haha.sorry Nortie. Maar ek het lanklaas gelag soos vannaand. Na 10min in die game storm hy uit en grom buite. Hy het nie eers die game verder gekyk nie. Ek het later oor gesit op die Mentilist. Haha
@ nortierd:
Ja, no well fine. You don’t need to convince me: the Stormers ARE superkak 😉
The Lions will shock a few more teams though.
Boshoff is a machine.
@ nortierd:
Thanks.
Just glad I do not have to listen to Heavens Game tonight.
