You will fly through the half marathon by May. No you have not peaked too soon, just keep training but don’t over do it until then. If you can run 21km right now you just need to add some interval work for speed you will do fine come May. Don’t ever do more than the 21km BB as I have told you before the ultra marathons and marathons will kill the knees.
@ grootblousmile:
Yep
@ Blue Bird:
I remember it too well… I posted on that day too…
179 @ Gumboots:
Yes she must come as well, has a incredible sense of humour Pedi. Think that used to be Ruck. Do you remember Ruck from way back on keo?
@ Puma:
Please get your knees done, don’t wait too long. I do think of your warnings if I get a ‘knee twinge’!!
I am coming over to CT in March, just after the Argus and can’t ski as well!! WRS is hitting the slopes in April.
Wonder who the Stormers are playing when I am over!!
Yeyy Try England
@ Blue Bird:
Fantastic. Well done. You’ll do it. As long as not too many hills.
I did something crazy just before Xmas – joined the weird wonderful world of crossfit. Look out for a box near you – it’s intense, but addictive. If that makes sense.
Try Mike Brown, England
180 @ Blue Bird:
Tell Grant and Robzim to come over, the past is in the past they can come start fresh here like gbs said all of that stuff belongs in the past. Would be great to have both of them over here.
Sh1t, don’t you just hate it when the missus calls you to do something when the Rugby’s on.
@ Gumboots:
I don’t have Pedi’s details…. Hopefully during super 15 she will apply to blog here, she was a laugh.
And with that 2nd try, the English roses savage the highland flowers into the mud of Murrayfield.
England 20 / 0 Scotland
185 @ Blue Bird:
Thinking of doing both knees this year. Then I will be ready for anything……
Scotland taking a huge thrashing here.
Now I need Scotland to pull 5 points back, for Bru
@ Blue Bird:
What about Keo’s girlfriend… forgot her name… the one Puma fell head over hills for… LOL
193 @ The_Young_Turk:
Not done yet I fear.
@ The_Young_Turk:
Hi Young Turk… How are you doing??
185 @ Blue Bird:
Enjoy your time in Cape Town BB. This time it will be a holiday without having the Argus to do first. March is a great month in the Cape. I was there last year for first two weeks in Feb. Was booked to go again mid January but work came up so had to give that a miss. Will go another time. Cape Town is brilliant.
184 @ Puma:
I remember Ruck from Voldy… if she is this Pedi, don’t know if she will come over, don’t think she likes me…
@ IAAS: I will ‘Google’ crossfit…So you suppose it happens in a rural backwater like Chipping Norton??
@ grootblousmile:
Yes it is Ruck…
196 @ Gumboots:
202 @ Gumboots:
Just don’t invite Skopskiet over, he won’t last 20 minutes and I’ll bounce him out on his arse.
200 @ grootblousmile:
She may now as it is the Sharkies she is not too fond of…hahaha. She is a scream, very good sense of humour she has. Enjoyed her posts. Must have been only Rye and me from the Sharks that enjoyed her, as she just does not like us Sharkies…. 🙂 Hope she comes over here.
15 Minutes to go in the match
@ Blue Bird:
They’re having the Verona half marathon next Sunday. You should come, I am the english announcer.
@ grootblousmile:
204
@ Puma:
Always spent the pre Argus week slightly anxious about the ‘Big Sunday’. So it will be great to just relax. Will be doing The Garden Route a bit too!
You will be unstoppable with those new knees btw. Golf buggy will be left to rust!!
England close again… and a 5m penalty for England
