30 @ Gumboots:
Looking forward to us playing Oz in the crici. Now that they have thrashed the English would be great for us to beat them.
@ IAAS:
What part did you like? The Frogs having flair or the lesson?
30 @ Gumboots:
Another thing the Aussies will come here with their tales up after the thrashing they gave England. Their confidence will be high, so hope we really stand up to them and beat them. Pity Kallis retired before this series against them, think he will be missed.
@ Puma:
We have to beat them. Didn’t you just love the Poms proclaiming to have the best bowling line-up after beating the Ozzies, then the Ozzie taking that mantle after beating a pathetic Poms side… Let’s wait and see…
@ Puma:
We tend to be slow starters… We need to get into their faces from ball one…
30 @ Gumboots:
When is the Test, from when to when?
I might want to go on the Sunday, Saturday is Rugby day.
34 @ Gumboots:
Have to say I really enjoyed the Aussies beating England and they done it in style 5 zip. So if we do win this test series that would put our confidence on a high. We have a good test side and should be able to beat them, just wish we still had Kallis for this one.
@ grootblousmile:
Starts Wednesday. Sunday last day – There is no real rugby on Saturday, the Stormers have a bye…
36 @ grootblousmile:
Think it starts on the 12th gbs.
Nothing beats “The Flower”.
Having said that, I stand up for all anthems, no matter who’s playing, it’s just the way I am.
@ Puma:
Cant wait for the Test, the whole Protea squad visited Hoedspruit the last 2 days. I missed them , remember i am working now. But the era after Kallis is quite crucial. One of 2 thing can happen, we show our fighting or we implode.
Going to be a real caracter test for the team without JFK
38 @ Gumboots:
Will consider it… for Sunday 16 Feb
@ Puma:
Kallis is a three in one player… Now we have to choose between a batter or a bowler… I don’t think Maclaren has what it takes as an allrounder… I would have liked to see Quinton de Kock playing and AB giving up the gloves… as we know that is not going to happen…
@ grootblousmile:
See you there…
England players coming out in their purple tops, over the white O2 shirts
44 @ Gumboots:
Include me in your plans… mail me to tell me where, how late ect… for the Sunday.
Scotland also out on the pitch.
Anthems
God Save The Queenie up 1st
Pitch looks like Newlands pre-1976, heavy and sticky, will cut up in the first quarter, for sure..
Flower of Scotland up next
Pipes!!!!! Goosebumps!!!
@ grootblousmile:
Will do… The last day is a funny one … either heading for a draw, game over or very tense finish…lets hope for the latter…
48 @ Pietman:
Murrayfield cuts up badly… as do most European pitches.
Come on England.
Show these Sweaty Socks how to play Rugger.
The bog trotting Oirish gave the Taffy Bastids a good whipping, now it’s the sweaty sock haggis munching skirt wearers turn.
No confidence amongst us for Scotland , only 1 Superbru pick in their favor
What an anthem… Go bravehearts…
51 @ Gumboots:
Good!
Game ON!
The pitch looks utter shyte and it”s not even started.
SRU need to get the plastic done quick quick.
Come on Scotland.
