Bullscot is our resident representative who lives in Scotland… and who does a lot of our European Rugby news for us.
Had the pleasure of meeting him here at my house in 2013, while he was on holiday in SA.
@ IAAS:
I think this is a majority Stormer site, isn’t it? 😆
@ Gumboots:
Gummi, what day are you thinking of going to the cricket?
Depending on how the match pans out, the Sunday could work
@ Bullscot:
Another site went belly-up a few days ago, so you might see some new nics flying around.
@ grootblousmile:
Was in London a few days in January… Wanted to meet up with Carol, but she just ignored my post… My aftershave I guess…
22 @ grootblousmile:
Yes GBS it sounded like it was a very poor show from us last week, so wasn’t so bad I had to miss it. Went against what I thought would happen when picking last week but even so thought that it was at least going to be a close game in spite of the misgivings I had about some of the team choices. Will be good test of how good Ireland really are today, I think you can’t underestimate the value of good coaches and in Schmidt they have a top guy as their head coach! Can’t believe you are even asking you bad man of course you wear your Scotland shirt today, we support regardless of what we think the outcome will be Am in full support mode now for the Calcutta Cup so won’t say anything about the team and the set up etc, its been chosen and nothing can do but just support them now. GO SCOTLAND!!!
How will we know who supports the Sharks?
O. Sorry, forgot, they will tell us soon enough
@ grootblousmile:
Cool – look forward to his views.
We had a guy Jockbok on that other site.
Big Scot supporter as well and a Stormer supporter.
@ nortierd:
I’m going on Saturday and Sunday – that is if the Ozzies last to the last day…
You missed a great day at Centurion the other day… We met all the Dolphin players – what a difference to the Sharks.. Chalk and cheese really… 😆
34 @ IAAS:
Ahh that’s a pity for them, but good of you folk to join us here, will keep a look out and try remember who is new and who isn’t.
36 @ Bullscot:
OK, Scotland shirt it will be then!
@ nortierd:
😆
@ IAAS:
I wonder what happened to him?
38 @ IAAS:
Met JockBok at OR Tambo some years ago… he is registered here too but have not seen or heard from him in yonks.
I think he was under the impression that Afrikaans was a bit strong here on R-T at the time, but as you can see, most things happen in English to accommodate the international friends.
We are however not shy to punt a bit of Afrikaans or to do the odd Afrikaans article.
@ Gumboots:
I’m sorry I missed out, but duty calls, ha ha, let me rephrase, special event allowance called.
I start my 1st official workday since the funeral in December on Monday, going to feel strange, not looking forward to it.
Right folk enjoy the rugby got a bit of shopping to do and then going to watch Scotland v England game at friends. GO IRELAND, GO SCOTLAND!!!
@ Gumboots:
Yeah – the Sat could be a good day – the match will be set-up nicely by the close of the 4th day – as long as the rain stays away from Centurion.
41 @ grootblousmile:
Anthems…
Wales up first
@ nortierd:
Will you be able to make it on the Saturday? IAAS will be there too…
Ireland anthems
Wales should take this one… You never know which team turns up though…
@ Gumboots:
Will try, the Sunday might have been better, but will see what I can arrange.
I picked Ireland by a very small margin on SuperBru for this game
Njammie mammie…
Brian has something to prove today… He has been waiting for today…
OK, time for rrrruuuuuugggbbbbbbyyyyyyyy!
@ nortierd:
