Rugby-Talk had excellent stats for January 2014, 2nd best month ever on the site, only 1 month (September 2013) was better, by just under 11 000 page impressions for the entire month.
We achieved 318 438 Page Impressions for the month at an average of 10 272 Page Impressions per day (Sundays and midweek – quieter times – included). The “hits” (which is a very false measure) counted at an unbelievable 1 540 872 hits, and the Bandwidth consumed was 28.54 Gb worth of Data travel. We had 41 724 visitors.
We published 265 Articles in January alone!
Now don’t say I do not indicate the facts to show how big Rugby-Talk is becoming!

2 @ grootblousmile:
Very impressive stuff GBS, growth is a big measure of success in business so would be interested to see what the year on year growth has been, or for a more direct comparison what were all those numbers you mentioned like for January 2013. I guess some years we have Lions tours and others World Cups so these would possibly skew figure if you were trying to compare whole years with each other.
GO SCOTLAND!!! Not able to watch so will need you to support Scotland for me GBS and whoever else joins in today cheers vir eers
Anthems!
Ciao a tutti!
4 @ Bullscot:
Might do some comparisons later, but believe me, I think we’ve doubled on January 2013’s figures!
First the rugby though….

Penalty to Scotland, 10m line, kick at posts… Laidlaw taking the kicks
Hits the left upright, missed
Afternoon all. Looks like a nice day in Dublin. Go Scotland, but I fear it could go Ireland’s way
OK, the 1st 2 Live Game Articles for tomorrow’s start of the Varsity Cup, have also been scheduled.
Very well kept up by the Irish
Ireland very close…. on the line
Scotland get the turnover scrum, 5m from their own line

Ireland 3 / 0 Scotland
Ireland running it from deep in their own half, they get to halfway… knock
