It is highly likely that experienced lock Steven Sykes is now going to captain the side, with regular captain Luke Watson still out with injury.
The replacement at flank in the place of Darron Nell is expected to either be Thembelani Bholi or Stephen Zaayman.
At hooker, Dane van der Westhuizen also disclocated his right elbow and will be out for 6 weeks. His replacement is likely to be either Albé de Swardt, JC Oberholzer or Tabbie du Plessis.
Sergeal Petersen, who injured his knee against the Lions on the weekend, will be ready to tackle the Stormers.
