Blue my boooooiii!
genade mense. kan ons nie vang nie?
Aus 155 / 6 after 37.3 overs
What the fk has happened to SAs fielding. Now Robbie P(or Robbieflair as he calls himself, what a cnut) drops one.
It’s not only the catching though, misfields and the odd harbor bridge, fk sakes man.
2 wickets and 14 runs.
Hope we manage wo force the follow on even with a bowler short. duminy will just have to bowl a lot of overs. We need to go for the jugular here. and hope parnell can bowl tomorrow.
18 runs.
Aus 235/9 after 55 overs
Ryan Harris scoring quickly on 21 off 19 balls – AUS 236/9 – 187 runs behind, come on SA want at least a 150 run lead
Great Harris out, Aus 246 all out
Great for the Blomme to have a good lead, despite the messy fielding.
Now the Blomme must just build a good, quick 2nd Innings, we want more than a day to bowl the Aussies out!
SA 25/1 lead is 202 runs
Smith was out for 13 bowled Johnson. Elgar there on 8 and Amla on 2, hoping for big scores from them both
SA 34/1 lead is 211, batting quite quickly rate is currently 4.53 per over. Light permitting just over 48 overs min to be bowled still today. Right must get out and do some work while its so nice out today.
I didnt watch the first innings but Elgar is much better and less dire than the last game I saw him.
SA 192 / 4 at the close of play, Day 3
Ek dink ons moet die aussies instuur so halfuur voor etenstyd.
onder 19 wereld beker quarter final..
afghanistan 197 almal uit.
die baba blomme kort 198 om deur te gaan semi finaal toe.
DeKock goes, slashing, but nicking straight to Captain in the slips for 35. SA 231/5
SA 261/5, lead by 438, Amla on 125 and Duminy 12, must be time for a declaration soon
377 @ MacroBull:
At first thought you may be a bit soon with that declaration but looking at lead already and that they should lose a lot of time tomorrow with the weather, certainly the first two sessions tomorrow not looking good, so yes the sooner they declare the better. The lead 440 now so if a team gets that chasing in the last innings then fair play to them and they deserve it but more often than not they won’t get there and we need as much time as possible to bowl at them, maybe physcolological 450 lead at least is what they aiming for.
SA 268/5 lead by 445 runs almost 200 runs more than Aus got in their first innings.
Is Parnell fit to bowl, if not that could leave us a bowler short but then the part time spinners will just have to step up and take the wickets or at least fill a good containing role so that the quicks can get alternated with bits of rest in between.
SA 270/5 DECLARED
Great stuff Aus need 448 to win, we need 10 wickets GO BOWLERS AND FIELDERS AND KEEPER, no missed chances this innings please!
Smith declares on 270/5. Now, can they bowl the Aussies out before the rains come?
71 overs to bowl today. and im sure we will get at least a session tomorrow. the prediction is getting better.
If Aus chase this they deserve to win.
@ Bullscot:
Just for you, here is Abbotts bowling figures for the current match, 42,2ov/125Runs/12w/19maidens……
388 @ Sharks_forever:
Hi Sharkie I suppose that is not too bad only 12 wides in his 42 and a bit overs jokes aside that looks like good figures, which SA bowler would you leave out to bring Abbott in? Parnell breaking down should make it easier for the selectors to simply bring your man in if he Parnell is not fit for the next test. But you can’t fault the selectors on chosing him for this one (unless there was an underlying condition that they didn’t pick up properly ahead of it) injuries are part of the game for fast bowlers. It may be a skewed perception I have but feel that as good as Morkel can be he has had ample chances in the past where he has not performed for a stretch and continued to be picked, 5 wicket minimum haul from him in Aus second innings is what it would take to persuade me that he doesn’t need dropping.
Aus in control 120/0 going at a rate of 4.3 an over, need 328 more to win, go on Proteas!
