I really need to invest in a Walka for the office..
Biff gone
Amla gone?
Looking bleak already
Johnson just continuing where he left off
O kak, 2 wickets down already…
Going to be a long Test again… or a short agonising one…
In the sweet sticky smelly stuff so early on a Thursday.
Funny how the wheel turns.
5 @ grootblousmile:
Do you really worry?
CSA have sold their reputation by signing the new ICC dispensation. Not that their reputation was worth much anyway after the shenanigans of the last few years.
CSA, SAFA, SARU. The three ringed circus of SA Sport.
7 @ Scrumdown:
And SASCOC “abely led” by Messrs Tubby Reddy and Sam Ramsamy conducting the clowns.
5 @ grootblousmile:
Copied you on an e-mail to the Lions.
No accreditiation for you at the GLRU reception.
9 @ Scrumdown:
Thanks, saw the mail… maybe they are just a bit disorganised, as usual.
SA 20 / 2 after 10 overs
oh blixem. Elgar, Qdk, Parnell en Duminy in dieselle span…either way gan die game baie vinnig oor wees.
Blomme 30 / 2 after 12.4 overs
Need at least 300 to make a game out of it.
Blomme 34 / 2 after 15 overs…slow batting rate, but I’m OK with that if the Blomme do not lose more wickets
@ MacroBull:
YOu mean Smith, he should be the first one to be dropped
This should be the Protea team.
Elgar
De Kock
Amla
AB
Faf
Miller
Duminy
Vernon
Abbott
Steyn
Morkel
12th man Parnell
Biff need to consider retirement pronto, one good innings every 10 test matches does not work out anymore.
Blomme 39 / 2 after 16 overs
Smiff out yet?
Abbotts current figures against the Cape Cobra’s are 8 overs 2 maidens, 16 runs and 1 wicket

I think the problem is that these are our best reserve players… so drop smith for who?
Have both Elgar and QdK Open? I dont think so.
@ Sharks_forever:
Fully agree with you on the team, just don’t know if the coaches see things clearly.
20 @ Loosehead:
Yip, indeed…
He did not hang around… too much to do in the back of the change rooms…. hahaha
Not that I think they are terrible players. but if we select two new openers now. We going ti have to start rebuilding a team, because surely duminy and morkel are right on the edge of being dropped too.
@ MacroBull:
If they drop players on current form Smiff can start packing his bags..
There are enough players that can come into the team
When Smith came into the team as a junior, they dropped a senior player to do so, why not Smith??
Elgar and De Kock can open, there is also a big run getter in Stiaan van Zyl that is playing for the Cobra’s
@ MacroBull:
So do we rebuild or just keep losing with the likes of Smith? They can even open with Amla, I mean he always has to go to the pitch very early in the innings.
Morning, oh dear not a good start but at least the pair consolidating nicely now. The promotion of Amla to opening is one I thought would be an idea recently so can’t fault the selectors there, he just seems so badly out of form, is such a good batsmen but don’t know why he has been struggling been a long time since Amla got lots of runs, when your star players are struggling then it will make it hard for the rest.
Abbott now 2/21 after 9 overs
