That we should have batted first mate, chill
@ Puma:
Hopefully Amla and AB can put some runs on the board. We need to get as close as possible.
Eish, Amla gone too!
Blomme 43 / 4 after 13 overs

@ MacroBull:
Hulle kan net beter doen as die voor hulle…
AB lyk gutsy daar, nie bang vir Johnson nie
Fight fire with fire is seker al wat ons kan doen

SA 75/4 still minimum of 36 overs to be bowled on day 2
SA 78/4 AB de Villiers on 31 and JP Duminy 10 at the crease
SA 81/4 as AB hits Johnsons first delivery of the over for 4 (previous score should have been 77/4)

Proteas finally over 100 runs…
106 / 4 after 29.5 overs

Another wicket is down… JP Duminy
Blomme currently on 110 / 5
126 for six! Poor defense from Maclaren.
AB 50
Rain bucketing down as a sudden thunderstorm hits SuperSport Centurion Park near Pretoria.
Players off the field.
Australia 397 All Out
South Africa 140 / 6
awesome 50 by the “downhill” batsman
Really disappointed how we went in the cricket today. Smith made a huge error by bowling first I feel.
Good luck Proteas!!!
Let us show some fighting spirit today. I doubt Oz would enforce the follow-on even if we were bowled out before follow on target is reached. It is going to be uphill from hereon…
Big advantage to Oz…

Morning Gummi
Hell, but they are giving us carrots. Clarke pulled a Jake White on his players and they stepped up and delivered. To make the statement that their bowling attack was the best in the world was a huge call, but after yesterday all those who got onto their high horses and dismissed his claim as nonsense probably hit the ground hard after falling off their horses. Johnson was brilliant and we better find a way to counter him soon.
It’s going to be tough to salvage a draw, but we showed against India that we can if needed
Come on Proteas we far better than what we have played here let us hang on and make a game of this test.
115 @ nortierd:
I remember a few years back when Johnson took a quick 7wickets from us think it was at Wanderers at the time he was already brilliant then but fell away in the last few tears but seems back to his best. Still think we should have batted first. Hope we can hang on today.
@ Puma:
Tears = years
@ nortierd:
Hello Kaptein…
You could see that the Ozzies intention was to stamp their authority on our boys. It looked like we just thought turning up would do the thing. You could see that Johnson was ready… To be the best we have to continuously be just that. Let’s see the fighting spirit today… 🙂

@ Puma:
When you lack confidence you do things that you shouldn’t be doing. Keeping players from playing domestic cricket is also a no no. With such an important series it was vital that we had to stamp our authority on the game from ball one. We started well, but then things went a bit pear shaped. I spoke to one of your Dolphins players last night and were discussing just that. By the way… well done on winning the 20/20. Deserved winners…
Let’s get behind the boys and hope that something special happens soon…
