Proteas won the Toss and elected to bowl
ja is a cool banner!
It’s my Bday party that day, would have loved to join though
6 @ Gena_ZA:
Oh goodie, you have a party on Rugby Saturday!
When is the actual birthday?
OK, let me get some stats, figures & stuff together for my marketing efforts today…
21st.
Annually we have a biggish rugby and braai day on the closest Saturday to the 21st.
Mostly local derbies so early in the season so it is a little great event in it’s own right.
But this Saturday as well – one needs to celebrate the start of the rugby with friends and festivities.
Unfortunately I am not the one to be on-line with a tablet or PC during a match, I will just break electronics. But there to share my misguided opinions before and after
South Africa win the toss and choose to bowl – lekkkker!

Steyn to Warner, OUT, whoops!
I copy and paste – no shame whatsoever
Steyn to Warner, OUT, whoops! Warner is a powder keg and this time he has exploded in Australia’s face, attacking a slightly wide delivery and dragging the ball on to his own stumps! You don’t need to give Steyn gifts like that, probably wasn’t quite room to cut that delivery, maybe just came back off the pitch a touch and Warner freewheeled the arms, cannoning the ball into the base of leg stump
Wicket!
Warner gone!
Aus 16 / 1
This is not something you will hear cane say very often……………………………”Go South Africa”.
🙂
What is read cannot be unread Cane!
26/2
Morkel to Rogers, OUT, banged in short again, got him, gloved to short leg! Brilliant catch from Duminy, the plan pays out almost straight away. Rogers was hopping around in his crease, the ball got too big for a short man and popped off the glove this time, went in front of square but Duminy flung himself forward and his team-mates wheeled away in synchronised jubilation

@ Gena_ZA:
Should be a very close Series Gena.
These Aussies take this game very seriously. Very Seriously indeed.
Almost to the point that we take rugby.
They will leave no advantage, either imagined or genuine unexploited. (in other words…… they are a bunch of c..t$).
Well noted, so do we Saffas, not the World no1 ranked test tam for no reason.
Where we differ is they like to have a say in the media and we on the filed.
On the filed they sledge and tries to intimidate, but we are not England.
Personally I think we will win both tests
Not taking anything away form them, bunch of hard assed fighters indeed!
It is very strange decision to bowl first. Although the pitch has a green tinge it isn’t a mamba. You bat through the first session and build a huge innings. If you don’t bowl out a team on the first day of inserting them, it is usually the wrong decision… Let’s hope we can make inroads…
