Reds and Wallabies flyhalf, Quade Cooper has done it, he has won his 2nd boxing fight by defeating former cage fighter, Warren Tressider, on Wednesday with a TKO in the 4th and last round of their fight.
Quade’s record is now 2-0.
The fight was one of the undercard fights on the night of Anthony Mundine’s WBA light-middleweight fight with New Zealand’s Gunnar Jackson.
In February 2013, Quade Cooper made his boxing debut, with a 1st round knock-out of Barry Dunnett in the cruiserweight division.
It’s now time again to concentrate on rugby again for Cooper and he will resume traing with the Reds in preparation of Super Rugby 2014. The Reds warm up against the Chiefs on 8 February.
