Good to see we are covering this, should be a good game in nice weather conditions. Will be interested to hear how Clermont play as their coach Cotter joins Scotland mid year so am hoping to hear his team look well coached. Got my hands full now for just about next day so no rugby for me maybe just quick peeps at scores. GO GLASGOW! Go Edinburgh.
Helloooooooooooo
I’m hungry for RUGBY!
Gooooooooo Quins!
Players out on the pitch.
I donned the Harlequins rugby jersey in Pretoria… so my allegiances are firm here.
Game ON!
Fast start by Clermont… and they get an easy penalty to posts
Brock James duly slots it.
Clermont 3 / 0 Harlequins
Not much SA influence in either team… except for Gerhard Vosloo on the Clermont bench
Clermont have a strong side….
Good Quins steal…
Another Clermont penalty, played it from an offside position… too far to go for posts
1 @ Bullscot:
We are covering another one after this, Toulon vs Cardiff Blues
Quins scrum penalty, deep in their own territory
Another Quins penalty, shot at goal by Evans… missed right
Clermont better in the running stakes at this time, Quins very, very good on the ground.
Fritz Lee drops one, 7m from Quins line

Good man, pity won’t be able to see these. Toulon should be way too strong for Cardiff, hope so any way. You will get to see Juan Smith, Joe v Niekerk, Bakkies Botha and Craig Burden. So many big names in that Toulon team, think saw at most 3 French guys in the starting 15 – crazy stuff!
Their left wing Smith is a player that has really impressed me!
Relieving Quins penalty, not releasing in the tackle… and good relief kick to halfway
14 @ Bullscot:
Yip, Toulon is a mercenary side…. that Mourrad Boudjellal owner of Toulon is a strange oke
Knock by Hopper… and the ball hopps away… hehehe
Pool 5, latest score: Treviso 3/5 Leicester, Berquist penalty for Treviso, unconverted try for Salvi for Leicester
Tryyyyyyyyy Hopper…. great play… wonderful stuff.
Goooooo Quins!
Wow Treviso scored a try and now in lead : Treviso 10/5 Leicester, thought that one would be an easy win for Leicester and they should push for a bonus point too, almost half time there.
Danny Care took great care of the ball there, not to go into touch
Harlequins 7 / 3 Clermont
@ grootblousmile:
#17 and 21: you in good form today GBS really must dash now GO TOULON!
Vosloo on as a sub for Clermont
23 @ Bullscot:
Hehehe
Tjorts Bully… you working tonight?
Attacking Quins lineout, after a penalty… should have been a 5m scrum for them.
Clermont steal the lineout
Side entry by Clermont… penalty, very kickable, about 43m out, in front
Harlequins 10 / 3 Clermont
Offside again by Clermont, after a scything break by Evans… easier shot this time
Harlequins 13 / 3 Clermont
