Toulon 15 / 10 Exeter (Halftime)
OK, found out who scored for Exeter, none other than Don Armand, ex-saffa.
David Smith scored both tries for Toulon.
Hello GBS just popping in on phone see David Smith scored 2 tries for Toulon are you watching what do you think of him? Think he is a really good strong wing and they shouldn’t miss Habana with him there
2nd Half On!
4 @ Bullscot:
David Smith is good and strong bugger… I missed the 1st 20 minutes or so
Giteau makes it Toulon 18 / 10 Exeter
@ grootblousmile:
am not seeing any of it, wonder how Juan Smith is playing?
For Exeter- like Tom Johnson think he is a tough hard working flanker, and Henry Slade has been spoken of as a promising flyhalf, not seen right wing young Jack Nowell but there has been a section of folk out there suggesting he may in for England call up soon with a few of England wings injured
There has been some nice interaction between Exeter and Glasgow Warriors so GO EXETER!
8 @ Bullscot:
Juan Smith not too bad… but will only get time now to fully concentrate because I had to do the Live Game Article for a later game too (Perpignan vs Munster)… and still have 1 more to do for a bit after that
Exeter attacking hard now… Toulon offside, penalty Exeter
Turning out a miserable afternoon here after almost a week of warm dry conditions, it’s dark and raining and the wind is blowing a dog out of a bush to translate directly
Toulon 18 / 13 Exeter
Jonny Wilkinson on as sub for Toulon
Exeter penalty… 21 minutes to go
@ grootblousmile:
ahh if you get to see the Perpignan game will be good to hear how their flyhalf Tomasso (Tommy) Allen gets on, Munster must be one of the best teams in Europe at the moment so it will be a good test for him. He is John Allen the former hooker’s nephew who junior rugby for WP and Scotland but chose Italy and played for them in end of year tours.
Try Toulon, the No 17 replacement prop!
Toulon 25 / 13 Exeter
17 @ Bullscot:
Will have a look for you
Ahh come on Exeter
Try Jonny Wilkinson, under the sticks… Toulon’s 4th try.
TMO
Awarded.
Toulon 32 / 13 Exeter
Michalak also on
@ grootblousmile:
#20 thanks had seen a highlights clip of his and he seems to have the complete range of skills, good passer so gets his backline going well takes the gap himself well good defender goes low in the tackle and a strong boot both out of hand and to posts but its all good doing this at junior level can he do the same at senior level where there is lots more pressure and he has far less space and time…
Oh well Toulon running away with it, nice luxury to have Jonny come off the bench
Try Exeter, Arscott
TMO
Try looks good to me
Ball was held up, scrum 5
Try Ben White, Exeter
