    GO GLASGOW!

  • 2

That’s a potentially potent back three Cardiff have in Halfpenny Cuthbert and Robinson, all three Welsh internationals. Don’t know much about Cardiff’s pack though full of unknown names to me, so here’s hoping Glasgow pack overwhelm them and help keep the ball from Cardiff’s back 3 and also give quality front foot ball for Magic Matawalu to show us what he is capable of as by his lofty standards he has had a quiet season thus far.

“A minute’s silence will be observed prior to kick-off tomorrow as a mark of respect for those who died in last week’s helicopter crash in Glasgow, while the Warriors will also wear black armbands during the game.” – this was part of the official announcement of the Glasgow team on Wednesday.

    3 @ Bullscot:
We’ll be seeing Castres vs Ospreys on SuperSport 6 or SHD6 just now…

  • 5

    4 @ grootblousmile:
Hope it’s a good game for you to watch GBS, will not be watching any of the games as its on the pay channel. Ospreys are doing the best of the Welsh teams in PRO12 this season (5th on the table) but they were beaten at home by Glasgow last week although they would have been missing quite a few of their players then as Wales played Aus.

    5 @ Bullscot:
    Ospreys 6 / 3 Castres after 23 min

  • 7

Latest scores : Castres 3/6 Ospreys; Cardiff 6/0 Glasgow

  • 8

Oh dear Cardiff 13/0 Glasgow – try scored by Patchell converted by Halfpenny – good young flyhalf Patchell.

Latest scores – Castres 9/6 Ospreys, Cardiff 19/10 Glasgow

  • 12

Final Scores : Castres 15/9 Ospreys, Cardiff Blues 29/20 Glasgow Warriors

  • 13

All the points came from the boot in the Castres/Ospreys game with Rory Kockott getting 12 points (4 penalties) for Castres.
There were 4 converted tries in the Cardiff/Glasgow game – try for Patchell and Cuthbert for Cardiff and Kilted Kiwi Maitland and replacement Fijian lock Nakarawa for Glasgow

  • 14

So that leaves Ospreys at bottom of Pool 1 on 1 point with Castres 2nd on 8 points, Leinster top the group on 8 points but still need to play their 3rd game.

  • 15

Glasgow at bottom of Pool 2 on 5 points and Cardiff on top (for now) with 9 points, Toulon and Exeter both have 6 points and play against each other in 3rd game of the group stages. Would think it will be tough, almost impossible for Ospreys to qualify for the knockout rounds now and also tough for Glasgow to get through, best result for them may be a draw with no try bonus points between Toulon and Exeter but can’t see that happening.

  • 16

Exeter got a losing bonus point against Toulon, Saracens and Clermont got bonus point wins against Zebre and Scarlets respectively.

  • 17

Latest score : Racing Metro 0/17 Harelquins

  • 18

All the results for the round so far have been added, 4 more games today

  • 19

Latest Heineken Cup Scores : Munster 22/0 Perpignan; Edinburgh 5/18 Gloucester

That’s all the results for this round of the Heineken Cup added.
