SA need 250 runs to win… 6 wickets in hand…. one of which is that of Morne Morkel, with an injured ankle, who will just bat if it is absolutely required.
Now if it had been 8 wickets in hand, I would have given the Blomme a chance of a win
@ Owen Meany:
Ons krieket was egter tops daai tyd
65 Overs left in the Day and the match.
SA 227 / 4 they trail by 231.
That means SA need 3.56 runs per over to win… which might be doable.. if they last in the wicket department
Watter skool was jy GBS?
If AB & Faf can stand and bat past where SA need 150, then it could be game on
95 @ Owen Meany:
Menlopark, klas van ’82
Jy was seker in Affies?
98 @ Owen Meany:
Lunch – Day 5
SA need 222, with 6 wickets in hand… 61 overs remain.
SA need to bat at 3.64 per over to win
New ball is due after another 6 overs… that period should be critical
101 @ Owen Meany:
Paar interessante mensies wat op Menlopark was… Rudolf Straeuli was die jaar voor my in matriek, Jacques Olivier 2 jaar na my.
Naas Botha se vrou, Karen Botha (nee Kruger) was ‘n uitstekende hekkies & vêrspring altleet (2 jaar na my), Henning Gericke (langafstande – paar jaar voor my).
Net 222 lopies nodig.
104 @ Owen Meany:
Sy was ‘n mooi girl… effe stout, met stoute maaitjies… hehehe
Die tyd vlieg. Haar kinders is seker nou in Menlopark.
Die manne lyk positief in die middel.
107 @ Owen Meany:
New ball is NOW due.
SA 247 / 4 after 80 overs
211 Runs needed to win
New ball is immediately taken
AB de Villiers was glo ‘n goeie losskakel in sy dae, het glo Cravenweek gespeel.
Faf gets his half ton with a great 4, “mooi gheslaan vir ‘n great hou, 4 lopies”
SA now need 199 for a win!
Little targets needed…. one ball a time
Goed gedoen Faf.
AB de Villiers gets to his Half Ton, with a nice 4!
Another 4 too!
SA 280 / 4
178 needed to win
SA keeping the scoring rate below 4 per over needed to win
Pragtig AB.
