Vodacom BullsAnother new innovation from the Bulls, South Africa’s most successful Super Rugby franchise!

InvisBull becomes visible as PUMA launches the new Vodacom Bulls Super Rugby kit for 2104. Playing on the fact that Camo is designed to make you invisible, PUMA has launched a Camo Home shirt which stays true to the traditional Bulls’ blue, while the Away shirt is khaki green and brown.

Bulls new Kit

In the lead up to the reveal, PUMA ran a teaser Youtube video

As part of a campaign entitled “The Nature of the Bulls: You never see them coming”.

With camouflage being a major seasonal fashion trend across the globe, the fanwear has a cool, fun appeal – the shirts retail for R649 and can be snapped up as ideal festive season gift in either or both colourways.

Blue Bulls Company CEO, Barend van Graan, says: “PUMA have certainly transformed the pace since their arrival at the Bulls and the team feels that new Away khaki green and brown jersey, a complete contrast from our old-style kit, is a bold statement towards distinctiveness.”

Brett Bellinger, Marketing Director of PUMA South Africa, says both the Home and Away kits have been launched in advance of the December period to give Bulls fans a chance to get their hands on a jersey before their first match in February 2014.

“We wish Frans, Pierre and the rest of the Vodacom Bulls team and management all the best in the coming season; we hope that the players and fans are inspired by the kit and that it brings with it a good dose of PUMA luck,” says Bellinger.

Well its no surprise my better half doesn’t like they away tops she doesn’t like green clothes, but her comment on the home one was she thinks us Bulls fans wouldn’t like it as the design looks like water to her so reminds one of the Sharks! Huh??? Pondering

  • 44

Can’t remember when but a long time ago am sure Bulls Super rugby had an away version with green in it, think somewhere I may still have the sleeping shorts I got at the time, maybe will try find them and take a picture to send to the author to add so we can see this green idea is not a new one, calm down if do find them it won’t be a picture with them sleep shorts actually on me Happy-Grin

see that cian healy (ireland prop) with his comment: “i hate the haka” before the nz/ireland test, have sparked interesting discussions on the web.
i’m 100% with healy. interestingly, a friend (a nz supporter) and i had a heated argument around this same issue (during the nz/france game)
my thoughts around it was that:
    1. it was overdone
    2. that it gives the nz players an edge over their opponents in that first few minutes.
    ..
one of two things should happen … either can the whole thing or allow opposing teams to challenge the challenge thats being thrown down!!

    your thoughts?

  • 54

    @ Ashley:
I love the Haka, but don’t like the fact that we can longer throw down a challenge of our own or accept the challenge. Hence the cries of “Ole’,Ole'” ringing out when they do the Haka. If NZ and the South Sea Islanders can challenge their opponents, surely its a good thing that those same opponents can accept or render a challenge of their own?

  • 55

    lions4ever
exactly my thoughts. allow the teams to challenge it or let them do it before the national anthems or not at all.

  • 56

like die nuwe truie moer baie!

  • 58

    56 @ MacroBull:
