Wales were badly hit by injuries on the weekend, in the clash with the Springboks from South Africa.
Jonathan Davies:
Sport24 reports that Wales centre Jonathan Davies has been ruled out of the remaining November tests due to a chest injury and could miss next year’s Six Nations.
The British & Irish Lion sustained the injury trying to stop South Africa’s Jean de Villiers scoring his team’s first try in Saturday’s 24-15 win over Wales in Cardiff.
“If he needs an operation it could be five months,” Wales coach Warren Gatland told the BBC.
“He’s pretty disappointed. The physio said it might settle and he could be back in December. We will wait and see what happens.”
Gatland was already without Jamie Roberts, who usually partners Davies in the centre, and winger Alex Cuthbert for the November tests while prop Adam Jones suffered a calf injury during the game against South Africa.
Wales play Argentina on Saturday followed by Tonga and Australia.

Rugby365 reports that Wales have called up four players following the physically intense Test against the Springboks at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
Scarlets props Samson Lee and Rhodri Jones and Newport Gwent Dragons duo Hallam Amos and Tom Prydie are the players drafted in to train with the Wales squad this week.
Lee played for Wales Under-20 during the 2012 Six Nations Championship and in the IRB Junior World Championship in South Africa in the same year. He has played seven times for the Scarlets this season.
Jones, 21, made his debut for Wales against the Barbarians in June 2012 and earned his second cap a year later on the tour to Japan.
Uncapped 19-year-old Dragons back Amos has scored two tries in his eight outings for the region this season and has made 26 appearances since making his debut for the Dragons aged 17.
Prydie became the youngest player to play for Wales when he made his debut in the 2010 Six Nations against Italy aged 18 years and 25 days. He has gone on to make five appearances for Wales, earning his last cap on the tour to Japan.
The squad will meet up on Monday to prepare for their second November fixture against Argentina at the Millennium Stadium this coming Saturday.
Ospreys wing Eli Walker (hamstring) and Cardiff Blues flyhalf Rhys Patchell (shoulder) have returned to their regions for further treatment.
Centre Jonathan Davies has been ruled out for the rest of the year after a pectoral injury he sustained in the 15-24 loss to South Africa.
Other medical assessments following Saturday’s match are on-going and further information will be available on Monday.
