This one was freegin difficult to pick on Bru….
Forza Italia!
Was a dour 2nd Half last night between Wales & Tonga. Wales kept attacking but could not finish anything!
OK, about an hour to go till kick-off in this game… will have to wail away the time by working on some computers…. grrrrrr

Hello GBS ahhh nooo did you pick Italy for this one, think Argentina will take it. Can’t watch this game but will be keen to hear how the Scottish Italian Tomasso Allan fares on his first start for Italy at flyhalf having come on as sub in their first two End of Year games. He is the nephew of John Allan, was kicking myself after that I didn’t go over and ask John about Tommy (Tomasso) last week. He played u20 for Scotland but has chosen Italy instead, has an Italian mother, which is a pity as if he turns out to be a goody then it will be a loss in a position that Scotland is struggling in, our flyhalves are ok but necessarily top international class, hopefully they will develop more.

Sitting relatively pretty on SuperBru, both Globally as well as amongst SA Supporters and of course right at the top of our Rugby-Talk pool… so I hope my picks do not bite me in the arse today!
How’s it going in Scotland?
4 @ Bullscot:
Italy have had a much better year compared to Argentina, plus Argentina is under a new coach and copped a biggie last week against Wales.
I was impressed with Italy’s forwards… and cannot say the same about the Argies.
My pick was a gut-feel, for the home side.
Come on, gather around, I want lots of company today for the games!
5 @ grootblousmile:
Sounds like you have been picking wisely then GBS congrats, doing good here thanks bit quieter on the rugby front than last weekend, only game will be able to watch will be the Scotland Aus game. Must quickly go give the grass its last cut for the winter and then we taking wee one to go see Santa 🙂 Argentina seem to have gone backwards this year then, is Graham Henry still helping them out?
OK, the TV feed is at Stadio Olimpico, Rome…
Shuffle up!
8 @ Bullscot:
Yeah, I think Ted is still a consultant with the Pumas.
Pumas out on the pitch
Italy also now coming out onto the pitch
Anthems…
Argies Kerkmusiek up first
Ciao a tutti! Forza Italia en donder die Pumas sommer stukkend!

Hello Gobbles, how are the peanuts hanging?
Very poor sound quality coming through
The Italian Opera music now going…
@ grootblousmile:
Fattening up for thanksgiving
Game ON!
Kick-off by Italy.
18 @ The_Young_Turk:
Who’s the willing target to give thanks to?
Both scrums, scrumming very low… Italy scrum penalty… look kickable
Looks like a bit of sleet falling in Rome… eish
Over… in off the post.
Italy 3 / 0 Pumas
Good stab kick into touch by the Pumas… defensive Italy lineout
Many “Argies” in the Italian team as most Argentinians trace their ancestry to Italy rather than Spain.
Samoa 15 / 13 Georgia… so far, 2nd half already
Not straight into the lineout by the Pumas, scrum Italy
Massive 2nd shove by the Pumas at the scrum, Italy lucky to get the ball
Italy penalty, holding on… well done by Castrogiovanni
