The exciting Bath outside back was part of the England Under-20 team that won the Junior World Championships in France earlier this year and will get a chance to familiarise himself with the national squad.
Lancaster said: “We are bringing Anthony Watson into camp because we want to take a look at him in the same way that we have done in the past with others outside the Senior or Saxons squads such as Joe Launchbury.
“Anthony is a member of the U20 squad and is playing well for Bath so this is a good opportunity to give him a taste of this environment.”
Watson has represented England at age-group level since he was U16, and starred in their Junior World Championship semifinal victory over New Zealand this year.
