All Blacks get and deserve their Trophy… pity about what happened by Poite in New Zealand… but they came and won here too

  • 332

Shame no one is even All Blacks after lifting the trophy.

  • 333

    330 @ Timothy Bornman:
Bokke can only learn from that… THAT attitude is the right one to have

  • 334

Awesome game, really proud of the boks, the Kiwi’s are just too good, to beat them we have to make very few mistakes.

  • 335

    334 @ MacroBull:
Yip, the execution will have to impove from hereon in towards the next World Cup in 2015.

  • 336

The massive All Blacks experience inside their ranks is worth it’s weight in gold

  • 337

    @ GBS:
We as SAFA’s had this idea that after we got a raw deal in NZ that we are a better team. And the fact is still that we are some distance behind the All Blacks.
The big difference is they perform like that week in and week out. We performed 2 games in this whole Championship. The home game vs the Pumas and the Wallaby game down under. Even last week in CPT we did not look like the no 1 team in the world.

We are not consistent. We are all over the place.

  • 338

I actually expected a much more defensive game from both sides, expected a much lower-scoring game.

I do not think there are teams in the world at present to match or come close to these 2 sides.

  • 339

    337 @ Timothy Bornman:
Little things which can be rectified…. errors need to be cut out quite a bit more

  • 340

Not every day that ANY side scores 4 tries against the All Blacks.

  • 341

Duane was skitterend, Louw bietjie stil.

  • 342

    341 @ bidibidibok:
Franco was nie sleg nie, Juandré Kruger was die swakste Bok vandag.

  • 343

The Springboks who were outstanding today, was Eben Etzebeth, Siya Kolisi, Duane Vermeulen, Jean de Villiers, Bryan Habana (before injury) and Zane Kirchner.

  • 344

  • 345

Francois Louw, Bismarck, Beast, Fourie du Preez were all also good… maybe not as those I mentioned before, but good enough

  • 346

    En Willie

  • 347

    343 @ grootblousmile:And Willie Le Roux

    Praat met my… nou!

    347 @ Just For Kicks:
Flip, sorry… yip he was outstanding too

  • 350

So kanselleer asb die ou een dan gaan ek voor met hierdie nuwe een, is dit reg so ?

    Cry-Out

  • 351

    350 @ bidibidibok:

  • 353

351: eish, so maklik wat ek myself weggee, ai.

  • 354

    352 @ bidibidibok:

  • 356

Ja dankie GBS, gesels altyd lekker hier.

  • 357

I think Zane Kirchner performed bloody well in this Championship, certainly silenced a number of detractors. SP Marias shows promise for the future as does one or 2 more… forget about Andries Coetzee or Jurgen Visser though, the sooner the better.

Willie le Roux did well… a couple of mistakes still that he needs to cut out, but he’s OK, so 14 is relatively sorted.

At no 13 there is big room for improvement.

Jean de Villiers at No 12 has had a fabulous year and Jan Serfontein covers well there.

At left wing old Bryan Habana has been a stalwart, but he will be in France and we need someone to step in and eventually take over from him.

Morné Steyn has clearly been the best flyhalf in SA in 2013, but going forward Johan Goosen and one or 2 more need to be groomed into taking over the helm.

At scrumhalf there is a lot of work to do… we need Fourie du Preez back in SA, Ruan Pienaar needs to be farmed out and hopefully Piet van Zyl, Sarel Pretorius and a few others step up and knock hard on the door.

At No 8, Duane Vermeulen is the man in the saddle… and he plays hard. Pierre Spies can be put out to pasture and a youngster like Arno Botha can be groomed for the future to cover No 8 and Blindside.

At Blindside I am happy with Willem Alberts and Siya Kolisi.

At No 6 Openside Francois Louw is good, we need one more, come back Heinrich Brussow… we need you. Jaco Kriel at the Lions shows huge promise.

No 5 Lock is a problem, Juandré Kruger is not making the grade consistently. Pieter-Steph du Toit is neither here nor there just yet, Flip is not the total answer… here I would move Eben Etzebeth to No 5 Lock and we can groom a hard No 4… and / or use Bakkies Botha or Flip van der Merwe.

No 3 Tighthead is still a problem, Jannie du Plessis does an OK job, Coenie is no tighthead… time for Lourens Adriaanse and a few other candidates to step up and get some chances.

At hooker we have the best 2 hookers in the world already… no problem.

At Loosehead prop, Beast and Coenie could do the job and a youngster like Morné Mellet or Trevor Nyakane and maybe one or 2 others are not too far off.

  • 358

    Congrats All Blacks.

Still think we let in 3 soft tries. We have to work on our defence. Also said when Meyer took off Bissie and Jannie it was a massive mistake. The players themselves should have stayed on there for another few minutes. It was clear Andries Struass never wanted to come on right there and then. They players knew well they would probably scrum them over the line there. Instead we change our front row. Too many errors we still have to work on. The kicking out on the full by Zane as well led to them getting a eventual try. We cut down on the errors we can be a whole lot better and not just a bit a LOT better. Kruger and Franco not up to this test level I am afraid. We need now to start Psdt on the eoyt. There we will still have Flip as well.

Ag, just not too be tonight. We simply can’t make that many mistakes against a quality side.

We need to try and win it next year. Hoping.

  • 359

So who do we have that might tour on the eoyt that are not with the Boks now.

JPP we know for sure he will tour. Fransie Steyn is back in training he could tour. Psdt for sure will tour and not only tour start a game on this eoyt as well. He probably should have been on the bench tonight. If Alberts is injured Meyer surely has to look for like for like replacement. Kolisi was good when he came on but really like for like for Alberts is Deysel. Though Meyer will call up Marcell Coetzee I think as he has been with the Boks this whole RC.

Just disappointed tonight. We did have chances and just never took them. Pity Willie never got that last try. And if we left our front row on longer we probably would have got another try there. Fourie kicking on their line instead of giving the ball back, there as well I thought we would have got a try. Too many missed chances I think.

Anyhow now for more CC and the eoyt. However, this was the game I wanted us to win the most. Have to wait another long year before we can get another chance.

Future candidates taking age and ext into account. So let look a team after 2015. Some of these player can be brought into the mix even now.
    1. Coenie, Nyakane, Mellet, Kitshoff
    2. Scarra
    3. THIS A PROBLEM POSITION IN SA.
4/5. Etsebeth, Pieter Steph, Willemse, Hattingh
6,7,8. Here we are rich, so it would not be fair to name anyone.
    9. Schreuder, Reinach, Groom, Van Zyl
    10. Coleman, Dimitri, Boshoff, Zeilinga, Pollard, Goosen(I wont even consider him, he plays one game a season and is then injured)
11/14. Rhule, Kolbe, Van den Heever, Volmink
    12/13. De Allende, JJ, Serfontein
    15. Boshoff, SP, Coetzee, Lambie
