53 year old Japanese coach Eddie Jones has been hospitalized after showing signs of a stroke.

This ahead of the Japanese clash against the All Blacks on 2 November.

Jones was taken to hospital on Tuesday night after a training camp. He had been complaining about a headache and was submitted for further examination.

Jones has coached the Wallabies and took them to the World Cup final in 2003 where they lost to England. He also played a part in the coaching staff of the Springboks who won the 2007 World Cup under Jake White, and has been head coach of Japan since April 2012.

Under his coaching the Japanese have won their 5th and 6th Asian Five Nations titles.

He also stated when he took over the coaching job that he would like to make the Japanese a top 10 side before the 2015 World Cup.
