If saru wants to change the currie cup format they can surely look into a round robin with the top team on the log taking the trophy.
Or a playoff game between the two top teams.
The cheetahs, lions and bulls have been kak this year and in no way even deserve to be semi finalists and will all likely be blown away in the semi’s anyway. Just an extra pointless game.
That said it would be extremely fun if they lose playing their already overplayed springboks.
“They” as in sharks and wp.
1 @ MacroBull:
Have to agree.
Format is k@k with only 6 teams, and nobody can tell me that the teams from last night would have been blown away in this years CC.
I really enjoyed the 1st div final. Good Rugby by both sides.
Go WP!!!!
OK… as a neutral I will support WP… spit, spit, spit
stomiss (whisper)
Give the cup to WP , we need some tradition back. Let them win it 3 years in a row , SA rugby needs it.
Go WP. Soory this might be the death wish

Stephan Kitshoff one of the stars of the season, this boy is a must for the next WC.
WP coming out the tunnel, onto a wet Kings Park
Sharks coming onto the pitch as well
Vat vang Kolisi aan, dans oppie veld, is hy gerook?
Is the first time Toetie has given JdV a break (even though it is only a slight one)? Certainly seems that way!
Game ON!
Sharks kick-off
13 @ Pietman:Already showing his worth!
Should see some bad handling in this weather
Sharks look more full of running than WP
Frenetic stuff in the rain
much better than the previous game handling wise, despite the wet..
WP penalty, offside… on halfway
@ grootblousmile:
220 Quite the opposite!
Another WP penalty… and this is a shot at goal for The Greek
Jacques Botes now the most capped Currie Cup player EVER!
