Notes:
Quotes from Backline Coach, Sean Everitt.
“This week our focus is on discipline because that let us down against the Bulls on the weekend. We need to get that right playing a team like Western Province. Another focus will be on defence, Province use the width of the field well, they have some dangerous runners, especially in Cheslin Kolbe and Gio Aplon, so we’re going to have to do our homework in order to contain them.”
“For both teams it’s extremely important to try get a home semi and the opportunity to host the final, so I doubt either side will use this week as preparation for the semi-final when so much is at stake.”
Goeie 22-tal, Sharks se super15 span vir volgende jaar.
Wie kan nog die span versterk: Jordaan, JPP, Steyn, Alberts, wie nog ?
Many Sharks fans been complaining about Lambie picking up splinters on the Springbok bench, so what do the Sharks themselves do with him… stick him on the bench
@ Bullscot:
BS the Sharks coaching team explained early in the week already why Lambie would be on the bench! It has to do with the Sharks game plan and that it revolves around the 10 for the most, Lambie has been out fpr a long time and does not know the new calls etc, they did how ever say in advancve that he will start in the semi’
It has nothing to do with form or dropping or any of that shyte, that ur sheepishly alluding to
Nou hoe moeilik is dit vir Lambie om die Sharks se 3 calls aan te leer: go left, go right, kick !
@ Ben_die_Bul:
Obviously not>> Sharks don’t play the Bulls pattern of stereotyped rugby!
@ Ben_die_Bul:
Anton Bresler, Ryan Kankowski and Nico Wegner to name 3; perhaps Ruan Pienaar ( who is keen to return to Durban)
6 @ Raggie:
Ruan Pienaar is not keen at all, he has just re-signed for Ulster for 3 more years.
See: http://www.rugby-talk.com/2013/10/pienaar-stays-at-ulster/
Ook maar goed Ruan gaan nie weer Sharks speel nie, dan was Lambie nr.4 losskakel by die Sharks na Zeiltjie, Butch en Ruan ! 😉
En dan wil jul hom nog bo Genl. Steyn kies ?
8: Skuus vir die fout, nr.5 eintlik, skoon vergeet van Frans Steyn.
@ grootblousmile:
I still think his heart is set on a return to Surf City>
But he may not necessarily come,
I am quite keen on seeing how Stephan Ungerer ( a local lad) takes the step up to higher honours, of course there is also the Durban journeyman Tian Meyer who will be hoping to get a contract at the Sharks
10 @ Raggie:
You mean you still widely speculate…
He’s been with Ulster for 3 years, have just (this week) signed for 3 more, which at the end of his contract would leave him having played longer at Ulster than in SA in total.
We know he’s turned down Toulon and rather settled for R 800 000.00 per month less at Ulster to suit and please his family committments. To me it indicates they are happy and very well settled in Ulster and prefer to stay there.
It’s not that he may not necessarily come to play Super Rugby for the Sharks in 2014, like you sugested he might (in comment #6), no chap he won’t come… shall I repeat it, he has signed for 3 years for Ulster again.
@ grootblousmile:
His wife is an Umhlanga girl, she apparently refused to move to France> watch this space…… we all know a woman usually gets what she wants: Johan Muller is retiring at the end of the year so there is no more BJ Botha and no Johan Muller< expect to see Pienaar join the exodus
12 @ Raggie:
Yip, I suppose you are Mr know-it-all… or shall I say speculate-it-all…. quite a wise-arse…
I’ll remind you next year about this…
@ grootblousmile:
Hell but you Bulls supporters are a bitter bunch…. can’t say that I blame you however; if my team were as pathetic as that I suppose that I would also be a cynical, miserable person too! Perhaps you should change your name to GROOTBLOUFRONS
14 @ Raggie:
Not bitter at all, just get severely irritated by arrogant fools.
@ grootblousmile:
Arrogant perhaps ( but good natured) A fool I repudiate with contempt; There are truths which are not for all men, nor for all times. Every man is a damn fool for at least five minutes every day; wisdom consists in not exceeding the limit: I guess that you have had your 5 minutes!
.
16 @ Raggie:
You trying desperately to come accross intellectually or as an intellectual… it’s not working!
Clearly you think you are allowed much more than 5 minutes, hell even hours, fool.
Should have repudiated yourself yonks ago…
@ grootblousmile:
try reading some classics begin with Elbert Hubbard, The Roycroft Dictionary Concocted by Ali Baba and the Bunch on Rainy Days It will be more entertaining than watching the Bulls tomorrow
18 @ Raggie:
I guess you would know, you must have been doing that all the time before 1990, regularly in between and during this year’s Super Rugby Season too.
You still can’t string a decent sentence or paragraph together though, pity.
Now go play in the traffic, please, it’s too easy toying with you whilst I multitask here at my office!
@ grootblousmile:
I take it that you resent anyone that challenges your authority or who will not conform to your dictate. I am no sycophant or mindless follower. Forgive me for expressing an opinion and trying to engage a debate, anyway enough of this I will not linger where I am not welcomed. You have a decent web page; which I will from time to time visit. I shall however refrain from participating in the banter.
20 @ Raggie:
Ah, trying to bow out with grace, when talking kak was your forte…
Your “Blog” there on SuperBru, must be ever so stimulating, conversing with other intllectually challenged individuals.
You have very little stamina, when not in control of a situation… a man amongst children, but a child amongst men.
