2 @ Gena_ZA:
Sadly, for the Blue Bulls senior side it is certainly true…
Yet, there are still 44 Blue Bulls players at Newlands today, playing…
2 Blue Bulls sides in Finals, 2 Wp sides in the Finals, 1 Sharks side in Final, 1 Golden Lions side in Final.
Might be scant consolation that the Blue Bulls yougsters have to carry the torch… but not a bad year at all for the Bulls in total.
1. Senior Amateur Title taken last week.
2. No 1 Log Position of all SA sides in Super Rugby, 2nd on overall Log.
3. Under 19 Final (undefeated so far)
4. Under 21 Final
In addition Tuks won the Varsity Cup for a 2nd year running.
The only blemish on the whole season is the senior Currie Cup results… after the Blue Bulls were effectively without 18 Springboks who did duty for the Bulls in Super Rugby… 10 Springboks having departed for overseas, 4 Springboks injured (Francois Hougaard, Pierre Spies, Arno Botha, Deon Stegmann), 4 other Springboks who were with the Springboks for the most part during the Currie Cup campaign.
Nou vra jy my vir wie ek skree….
so sentimental, last I saw this was the Curry Cup and not a 2013 union review, keep the perspective…
UIT DIE BLOU EN WIT VAN ONS TRUIE, UIT DIE DIEPTE VAN ONS SPAN
OOR ONS EWIGE GEBERGTES, Lê DIE HEILIGE NUWELAND
DEUR ONS VER LANGE GESKIEDENIS EN DIE KREUN VAN HARDE SPEL
RUIS DIE STEM VAN ONS SUPPORTERS, WANT ONS VERRAAI NOOIT ONS SPAN
ONS SAL OPDAAG BY DIE HORDES, ONS SAL OFFER WAT JY VRA
ONS VIR JOU ………….ONS SE WP SPAN !!!!!!!!!!!
WP JOU LEKKA DING!
WP JOU LEKKA DING!!
42 Minutes to go till kick-off in the Currie Cup Final 2013
Folks… after this game we have 1 full weekend off for SA Rugby… but not totally off from rugby, as the End Of Year Tours start next weekend… Bokke only play the weekend thereafter.
Have already created the SuperBru Pool for End Of Year Tours for Rugby-Talk, but will do all the invites sometime tomorrow and do an Article with the Pool Name & Code and so on.
@ Ben_die_Bul:
Sjoe, wie wil ‘n ou hê moet wen hier?
Kies mens die arrogante, know-it-all, every freegin player in my team should be a Bok ou se span, OF kies jy die windgat, voorbarige, neerhalend-teenoor-ander-spanne ou se span vir ‘n wen… bietjie moeilik…
@ Ben_die_Bul:
VRYSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!
Good to see a packed Newlands for the Currie Cup Final
Well done WP U21s for winning.
16 @ Loosehead:
Hello Loskoppie…
How the hell are you?
The Sharks players running out onto the pitch
WP now also take to the field
The crowd goes bezerk
Anthem up first…. very fitting
WP fans going to sing God Defend New Zealand?
19 @ grootblousmile: Kak farking busy. And how are you?
Kaplan with tears in the eyes… feel sorry for him, can’t help it
Anyone have a link for the game? A mate in Poland wants to watch.
Game ON!
Sharks kick-off
26 @ Loosehead:
Arm maar geduldig… hehehe
