I can’t for the life of me understand the logic of leaving Jaco Kriel on the bench and starting with Tecklenberg.

I hope the Lions brains trust know what they’re doing.

Bees Roux’s (long awaited in Lions’ circles) selection is bound to get some debate going, but if reports are to be believed he has crossed all of his T’s and dotted the I’s in this regard, so let’s hope it’s not the end of his comeback.

Jeeeez, Jaco Kriel is a monster at openside… why on the bench!!

    WTF!

    @ Scrumdown:
We have a real grizzled old front row there. Mystery why Kriel is on the bench. Maybe JA wants to speed up the game in the last 15-20 minutes.

    3 @ Lion4ever:
Problem is if we need to speed it up then there’s a problem

Should rather start at top speed and build a lead.

I hope it doesn’t back fire.

I am with everyone. Why on earth does Ackerman leave Kriel on the bench? I would rather start him than only use him to speed it up at the end.

Lions should still win this one.

Think Lions and Province have the best back 3 in their teams.

Did you see the message I left you on how you were done in with your Modem Router and Range Extender, on the Ratings thread?

  • 7

    @ Puma:
I agree that Kriel should start. But with the Lions seeming to wake up in the last 30 minutes of the game, maybe JA wants use Kriel to spark that attack.

Apparantly Kriel being benched is rotational.

    8 @ Lion4ever:
Jeeeeez, it’s not as if Kriel has been played to death this season… he was “rested” a few weeks ago too… and the Lions have played about half the games the other sides have played this year.
